Relax, imagine, explore and discover
September 2011 — March 2012
The New Art Gallery Walsall
The New Art Galllery Walsall The gallery is a popular destination, and parents and adults tell us they’d like to do the activities, without the rest of the family around sometimes for a change, so they can focus on themselves. Here’s the first workshop leaflet that is full of free workshops just for adults. Please let us know what you think so that we can develop the programme.
November Seasonal Sparkles
Friday 25 November, 1-4pm Saturday 26 November, 1-4pm Come and drop in and try out making things for yourself and to inspire some play time with your children. Inspired by the Structure and Material exhibition and use of unconventional art materials, explore lots of different materials to create with but this month give your work a seasonal spin.
Meet the Artist
Saturday 24 September, 1-4pm Having quality family photos is important. This is an opportunity to chat to photographer, Malcolm Brice, to improve yours. Discuss composition, lighting and ‘the moment’. Inspired by the new display of the Epstein Archive that shows some of the family photos behind the gallery permanent collection, bring in some of your family photos on camera or as prints to share and discuss. Please book in for this workshop on 01922 654400.
