After a leisurely boat ride, participants spend the day exploring these enchanting Gaelic-speaking islands by bike or by foot, including the little cottages that decorate the magnificent landscape and the lovely beaches that dot the coastline - a peaceful and relaxing day in captivating surroundings.

Students experience Kerry with an early morning horse ride through Killarney National Park, a tour of Muckross House and Abbey to learn about the Chieftains that once resided there, and a boat ride out to sea to meet Fungi the dolphin.

Dublin & County Wicklow Cliffs of Moher & County Clare County Clare is the perfect weekend retreat, where students enjoy music festivals, learn to surf, and are awed by the Cliffs of Moher, all before dinner graced with medieval songs, poetry, and a lesson in the rituals of yore.

One can trace their fingers over bullet holes in Dublin’s General Post Office, see the Book of Kells, and learn the scientific practices implemented at the Guinness Factory. In County Wicklow a visit calls for a tour of Powerscourt House, a picturesque Palladian manor.

Immersion Activities* River Cruise One can enjoy the spectacular views of the surrounding countryside and lake on a cruise of the River and Lough Corrib. A delicious dinner and musical accompaniment are provided on board.

Theater Performance

Students are enthralled at the Druid Theater’s colorful and exciting stage extravaganzas, where they learn the Irish fairytales and legends as this local theater company present their unique vision of Ireland.

Set Dancing CEA joins the locals at the hugely popular Tigh Neachtain a bustling Galway pub where the fantastic live band provides lively accompaniment to Irish dancing classes. An exciting and toe-tapping way to spend the evening!

Aughnanure Castle A tour of this picturesque Irish castle on the shores of Lough Corrib enable participants to learn about the great O’Flahertys, who once dined in the banquet hall and stood guard in the famous watch tower.
