School Annual Report I’m privileged to undertake the pleasant duty of presenting the report of all the activities undertaken during the academic session 2015-16. ‘Success is dependent on effort and success is the sum of small efforts.” Academic excellence is a hall mark of The Loyalist Academia. Every year our results have been outstanding, exemplifying our student’s commitment to excellence. Yet another academic year of success and achievement unfolded with an honour of winning medals at the national as well as international academic competitions. In Oxford Big Read Competition, TLA students “Dua Farrukh” and “Noor Fatima Naeem” excelled at regional level. In Kangroo Linguistic Competition, Meerab Ghumman and Dua Farrukh won Gold Medal while Rafay Abdullah won bronze medal. We feel proud on our students’ effort, as they made remarkable achievement at such a young age. On 11th March 2016, students attempted the International Kangroo Mathematics Contest, the result of which is awaited. Once again, we believe to get outstanding results just like before, Ms. Anum Khalil and Ms. Amna without your tireless work this wouldn’t have been possible. From the very beginning, we always has been guided by our school’s motto “Respect, Responsibility and Excellence”. By chasing excellence through hard work and dedication and by believing that our children deserve only the best and by taking every success with humbleness, the recognition that we continue to receive speaks itself. Every day during the session April 2015 to March 2016, had its own spice and flavor, which made it a historical year. Somewhat similar to the past 4 years, this year also laid the foundation of innovative ideas and significant improvements. TLA has started its journey to unfold in many ways in the years to come. The Loyalist Academia has maintained the highest possible level of educational competence. TLA success is also the combined effort of the teachers whose supreme art is to awaken joy in creative expression and knowledge. We are fortunate to have a cadre of dedicated teachers who are well trained, well experienced and capable of fulfilling the demands of the growing modern generation of students. Apart from the various core subject teachers, we have an enthusiastic team of co-curricular activity teachers for Physical Education, Music, Arts & Crafts. This helps in exploring and nurturing the innate talents and skills of our promising students and allowed students mastery in academic, social and culture pursuits. In this year, we witnessed man rejoicing events and activities that helped our students groom in several aspects.
In April 2015, Earth Day was celebrated with charts & posters made by children to commemorate the occasion. This resulted in an awareness among the students about causes, controls and preventive measures of environmental pollution. During the month of May 2015, the students of class 1 till 7 had spellathon-a word quiz. This allowed the students to further enhance their analytical skills as well as English vocabulary.
Next we had theme activities, pet animals’ day, sandwich making day and on the last working day before summer vacations, students enjoyed an exciting mango party and movie time at school. On every Friday, students of pre-juniors enjoyed different activities like Transportation, Pet animals, Profession’s day, Pakistan homeland, table manners and many more. These activities enhance students learning and their social interaction as well as communication skills. Parent-Teacher meetings are arranged periodically. We cherish parent’s co-operation and their constructive suggestions in our endeavor of imparting quality education. Throughout the year, we regularly held formal and informal meetings with the parents. We also focus on moral and spiritual education by instilling Islamic values in our beloved students through daily moral lessons, Islamic activities and Melaad. In order to enhance leadership qualities in our students, we held students’ elections. Students took the oath and followed through amazingly. Daily assembly presentations were conducted to build up the confidence of students and to eradicate possible personality phobias that creates hurdles in better performance. Filed trips were arranged to zoo, National Bank Park and Rana Resort while a teachers’ trip was made to the capital city Islamabad. We strongly believe in out-of-class-learning as it offers a whole host of opportunities you’ll struggle to find within confines of your classroom’s four walls.
Before concluding this report, I bow my head in reverence to the Almighty Allah for the blessings who showered upon this institution. I take this opportunity to express my deep sense of gratitude to our management and teaching staff for the steady ongoing support and service. I also extend my heartfelt thanks to all the parents for their continuous support and co-operation that enable us to move forward with confidence. Let me conclude this report by entrusting our school to the divine hands of Ma’am Ambreen Qayyum a charismatic leader and the backbone of this shining institution. Our special gratitude to Mr. and Mrs. Dr. Ahmed Khan our patron for their prayers and support for the TLA and its journey ahead. Thank You. God Bless You
