LA PEBBLES FUNDRAISER Venue: Coco Lounge, Littlehampton Date: 15 May 2009 We had been invited to attend the second monthly fundraiser for LA Pebbles, of which we were only to happy to. The night began with the amazing and electrifying Atombuzz, belting out a few numbers, followed by the terrific Mike Koumis project. Then a treat for the boys and girls too, the sensational Pitt Sisters, of whom had the crowd Dancing and clapping, especially their cover of Scissor Sisters, I Don’t feel Like Dancing.. THE


The evening was full of entertainment, and to be able to see 3 top groups for just £3 is truly incredible. The music was excellent, the atmosphere electric and the venue perfect for such a worthy event. If this is a taste of what is to come this August, it is going to be truly amazing. The 3 bands/groups mentioned will be performing at this years Pebbles on the beach, a truly spectacular array of live music on the beach, in the sunshine this August. Last years festival was such a huge success, this year can only go one better, a premier music event not to be missed on the green in front of South Terrace, Littlehampton. Battle Of The Bands 2009 Last year one of the great contributing events to LA Pebbles on the Beach 2008 festival was the Battle of the Bands contest. This is where over a number weeks selected bands slugged it out in a knockout competition playing live to a panel of judges to win the prize of playing on one of the BIG stages at the festival. The winners of last year’s event, ATOMBUZZ, were thrilled to win and did a roaring set and continue to gig regularly. Check them out at
