njoy the countryside with your local Ramblers’ group. What better way is there to get to know your own area than to walk in the local countryside? If you are a walker already, you’ll know that there is nothing more pleasant than getting out into the fresh air, relaxing, walking with like-minded friends and looking at the ever-changing countryside around you in all seasons. If you enjoy walking or want to take it up, why not join the South East Essex Ramblers, who invite you, young or old, new or experienced walkers, to come along on your own or with friends and join them on their walks. The Group organises a full programme of walks including weekend, mid-week and in the summer, evening rambles. They meet locally and then share cars driving to the start of the walks which range from about 4 miles at a leisurely pace to more energetic walks up
