Director Sharon Ramsey Salyors assembled an excellent cast for the revival which opens February 17. The play tells the story of wealthy Ethel Savage, played by Nancy Hope Major. When the money disappears, the mystery and the comedy take over. The children, a U.S. Senator, a judge, and a much-married socialite, are played by Keith Jeffers, Caitlyn Morelock, and Angela Dannhardt. One night several years ago Shawn Markle was walking with friends near the Old Stone Presbyte$2&*%L"5$4"%4#8#3#$F%2*%;#/2+>5$AB% WV, when they saw something unusual... red glowing orbs. Instead of being scared away, the adventurous young men walked into the graveyard to trace the source of the lights. The red eyes led them to a statue of an angel, before fading away. About a year ago, I asked Shawn, who is the son of my dearest friend from childhood, Martha Workman Massie, to retrace the steps he took the night he saw the bright red orbs. While at this location, we ran an ]6#43$(*24%j(24#%E"#*(8#*&%Y]jE[% session and took photos of the statue. On that day, no paranormal activity was recorded. I appreciated the report of the anomaly, however,

because I am extremely interested in following-up on others’ experiences to see if they can be replicated or repeated. Shawn was a reputable source, as I had known him since he was a small child and he was a young man of his word. When I would visit his mother, he and I would have long discussions about the paranormal. I was always impressed by his quick mind and thoughtful conversation. He was always quick to tell me stories he had heard of his friends’ encounters with the unexplained. I enjoyed our talks immensely. He will be sorely missed. Shawn left this world suddenly on Sunday, February 5, 2012. The loss of his bright spirit and quick mind makes the world a darker place in which to live. He was a musician of noted talent, who in addition to writing and playing his own music, would pen haunting songs that engaged the imagination and touched the soul. He came about this talent honestly; he carried the Workman blood, which pulses in time to rhythmic chords of music. Many of the members of this extensive clan have the gift of

I won’t name any of these, but the other day I found myself at home when one of these shows was on the air. The episode of this series I saw had a rather odd, let’s say, topic of the day - What You Don’t Know About Your Bathroom J#@"2%K#00%L-.4 I sat watching this, but not for long, as I could actually feel brain cells dying. These so called “doctors” talked of how if your bathroom is white, you’re gonna fall. If you’re shower door is glass it’s gonna crack open and kill you. If you’re bathroom isn’t clean you’re going around infecting everyone on the planet. My personal favorite was the idea that people are taking such hot showers, it actually causes them to pass out. I can’t recall the number of times I’ve blacked out because I was too busy singing Lady Marmalade in the shower, instead of monitoring the temperature of the water.
