When Dorothy and I first met, she told me, "love me, love my cats!" They came as a family, one for all and all for one. I had never had a pet before so this was a major leap for me. In retrospect, I am glad she gave me the ultimatum because the feline troops that we had at the time (this was quite a few years ago now) were the perfect cohorts to indoctrinate me into the world of cats. They were smart, gentle and lovable, welcoming me with open paws, especially after I began to feed them their meals! You might say that was the beginning of a beautiful friendship.
