Having recently announced the opening of their outdoor patio, The Scorpion Bar at Foxwoods Resort Casino in Connecticut is excited to share with Lioness some of the newly released cocktails to pair with the special menu for the outdoor eatery. Created by Big Night Entertainment Group’s award-winning Bar and Beverage Director Joe O’Connor, these refreshing specialty drinks perfectly complement the delectable small plate and easy-to-share dishes designed for enjoying outdoors. This month Joe shares his desirable beverages to help Lioness readers recreate the pleasure of The Scorpion when entertaining at home. Created to be enjoyed in the warmer weather and playing to the theme of the authentic tequila cantina, here are a few recipes to make your guests’ mouths water:

Manny’s Margarita

2 oz Avion Silver 1 oz Cucumber Puree Margarita Mix Build in shaker over ice. Shake and pour into highball glass. Garnish: Lime Wedge

Paraíso Azul

1 oz Cazadores Blanco .5 oz Canton Ginger Splash Blue Curacao Build in highball over ice. Garnish: Lime Wedge and Cherry
