* When my momma was near the end, I had to do everything for her. Give her baths, cook her food, change her diapers, brush her hair and teeth. .everything. It was the most humbling experience of my life. I learned a lot about being a servant. She did all that for me when I was a baby. I think washing feet is like that. Feet back then were nasty because it was dirty and dusty. They probably smelled terrible and were caked with dirt and grime. For the son of God to wash his follower’s feet would have been upside down. This shows Jesus being wil ing to not only die for us, but to stoop to the lowest level to serve us. Amazing! – - Uncle G.
