YPL Members make an annual donation of $500, which may be paid in the following ways:
Founded in 1992, by Peter oliver (oliver & Bonacini Restaurants), The Leacock Foundation works to inspire and empower youth in need through educational and leadership opportunities. Working both locally, in Toronto, and globally, in South Africa, the Foundation believes that education is an achievable and critical route out of poverty for many. Through the Triangle of Hope programs, the Foundation helps build local and global partnerships that create community connections and bridge differences.

The Triangle of Hope Model Three distinct school partners engage in an educational partnership: • High-needs Toronto Public School • High-needs school in the Eastern Cape of South Africa • Toronto Independent School School partners seek opportunities to unite their communities on a local and global level by participating in various Triangle of Hope programs The Leacock Foundation provides the funding, and the independent Schools provide volunteers and other resources for Triangle of Hope programs to be successful
