THEIR STORY Louise Anena (29 and a human resources business partner) and Nomzana Augustin’s story (28 and a social impact program manager) began in Zimbabwe. “We both wanted to perform Usher’s ‘Yeah!’ in our middle school talent show,” Nomzana says. Years later, the pair reconnected after they serendipitously moved to DC from Africa. After their engagement, the couple welcomed loved ones from all over the globe to their new home for a modern celebration with gold details, clean geometrics and a marble-painted cake. Of course, there was also plenty of dancing—it’s how they met after all. — LB
