Your guy may not be into spa days, but that doesn’t mean he can’t indulge in a relaxing professional massage. “As great as weddings are, they’re a high-stress event,” says Tamim Ghilzai, a Zeel massage therapist based in San Francisco. “A massage will help your groom relax and take his mind off any worries.” On-demand massage companies like Zeel deliver professional massages to your door, without the frills of scented candles and cucumber water your groom may not care about. “Men are just more comfortable in their home—they’re in their own environment,” Ghilzai says. “Some feel awkward sitting in the waiting room wearing a fluffy robe and slippers.” Another idea: Because of close-up ring shots on your wedding day, you’ll want your groom to consider what’s recently been coined “handshake maintenance,” or a manicure for men. If your guy doesn’t know his way around an emery board, opt for a professional job to clean up his cuticles and buff his nails to a healthy-looking shine. To maintain his newly manicured nails at home, he should invest in an all-in-one nail file and buffer to smooth out any ragged edges that appear over time. And have him apply a fragrance-free hand cream at night before bed to stave off callouses and keep his hands nice and soft.

update his suit Odds are, your groom is going to wear either a suit or tux—but that doesn’t mean all menswear is created equal. Consider a slim-cut tux or suit to up the style factor. And, this may be surprising, but slimmercut suits actually work for every body type. “Sometimes, guys think a boxier shape will make their body appear slimmer, but it has the opposite effect,” says Andrew Blackmon, cofounder of The Black Tux. >>
