Tenun Buna East Nusa Tenggara
Tenun Buna is a traditional hand-woven fabric from East Nusa Tenggara. Songket Lombok Lombok
The motifs are stiffer than Songket Bali and easy to distinguish between them. There is a village in Lombok that the women make songket, it is Sukarara Village southern city of Mataram. Songket Bali Bali
Made from golden, silver, silk, or cotton threads with really unique beautiful motifs and colors. Songket Bali often used in Balinese rituals or ceremonies. The technique in making it is by which gold or silver threads are woven into the cloth or ikat. This fabrics use lot of threads and it makes the fabrics heavy and stiff, but nowadays Songket Bali also made from cotton threads, so the weight is lighter than the former Songket Bali which made from golden or silver threads.
