I'm young but I know I should get closer to God. I'm just not sure how to do it or what that means. Can you help me?

MIA: Operation Fam

MIA: Operation Friends

Dec. 30th: 2:00-3:30pm, Bucktown

Friends… How many of us have them? But as shady as people are these days, sometimes I’m cool without ‘em! Do I really need them???

MIA: Operation More Than Friends

Dec. 30th: 4:00-5:30pm, Girls - Bucktown; Guys - Irish Channel “Uh oh… here we go!” You already know. (Guys & Girls time)

Campus Track MIA: Operation Emerge

Dec. 29th: 11:00a-12:30pm & 2:00-3:30pm, Bucktown 1

“‘Read the Word’, ‘Pray’, ‘Go to this Bible study and that small group’ – Man, it’s a lot going on with this Christian thing and I am not sure that I understand it all. I definitely want to grow as a Christian, but honestly I don’t know how- especially not by myself. I mean, what am I going to do when Impact is gone?” This seminar is all about our spiritual growth as Believers. If you have the same questions I do, let’s learn how to grow together.

MIA: Operation Disperse

Dec. 29th: 11:00a-12:30pm & 2:00-3:30pm, Bucktown 2

There are so many people on my campus with whom I’d like to share Jesus, but I am not sure how. I have been growing a lot, but I don’t feel confident enough to talk about it out loud. I mean, what if someone tries to stump me or asks me one of those really hard questions? Man, I’m not trying to look or feel stupid. What about you? How do you share Christ on your campus? With your friends? In your dorms? Let’s talk about it in this seminar!

MIA: Operation Identify

Dec. 29th: 11:00a-12:30pm & 2:00-3:30pm, Irish Channel 1

I don’t know about you, but I’m one of those people who sits in church and I hear that I am a new creation. My pastor and my Bible study leader try to convince me that “the old is gone” or “you are not your sin”, but that’s definitely NOT how I feel! In fact, I really don’t know who I am. While I want to change, I often find myself doing the same old things. I guess you could consider this an identity crisis of sorts. I feel trapped in my past; hesitant to move forward because of fear I’ll go backward. Find yourself here? Come on, let’s move forward together!

MIA: Operation Econ101

Dec. 29th: 11:00a-12:30pm, Irish Channel 2

“Budget?? HA! Save?? Save What!?! And then you tell me to tithe… Jesus knows my heart! I mean, after all, I am a college student. The little job I have goes to books, food, clothes, hair or GAS!” If you are like me, I guess this whole money management conversation is important. Meet me here to talk financial basics and how we can operate when the money is looking a little funny!

MIA: Operation Econ202

Dec. 29th: 2:00-3:30pm, Irish Channel 2

“Okay, I’m not too shabby when it comes to financial basics but when it comes to these terms and different types of loans – “deferment”, “forbearance”, “parent, private,”etc. – I’m lost! It’s bad enough that they want me to count numbers but now they want me to figure out percentages and interests rates and….UGH!!”Sound familiar? Need a little help understanding the depths of loans, building credit and complicated topics like these, join me! I’ll be in the front! IMPACT12 - MISSION IN ACTION

19

MIA: Operation Freedom

Dec. 29th: 11:00a-12:30pm & 2:00-3:30pm, Trianon 1

I often wish I could stop doing the things I said I wouldn't do anymore. You know; watching pornography, masturbating, lying, cheating, being jealous and even stealing. My focus is often on doing right things by avoiding all the bad things. This often leads me to deal my sin on the surface, rather than getting to the root. This seminar will use Mark 12:30 to challenge us to love God with our heart, mind and soul by revealing the root of our sin issue - our hearts.

MIA: Operation Neighbor

Dec. 29th: 11:00a-12:30pm & 2:00-3:30pm, Trianon 2

My Impact chapter is doing great things on our campus, but the community around is really needs help. I know that there are churches within the community, but I really want to understand what it means to “love my neighbor as myself”. Impact exists to take the truth of the Gospel to our campus but also to the communities; I’m not quite sure that we are doing that as a chapter. I’m not quite sure if even I am doing that as an individual. Together, let’s find out how to really make an impact.

MIA: Operation Global

Dec. 29th: 11:00a-12:30pm & 2:00-3:30pm, Treme 1

“I feel limited in the ways that I can be impactful in a global context. There are several humanitarian organizations, but I honestly don’t know how if there are other options that I would be more comfortable with. Regardless, my heart is to make a difference, globally, and I want the love and mercy of God to be shared across the world.” If you are like me, this seminar is for you! Come learn about other options and how we can love the World!

MIA: Operation Impact

Dec. 30th, 11:00am - 12:30pm, Elite

I used to always wonder how I could be more involved with Impact. I have such an amazing time each year at conference and really see the need of continuing my experience beyond once a year. Well, each of our involvement could look very different. If you miss the Impact Opportunity Fair... YOU WILL BE SORRY!! Come find out about the MANY things Impact has to offer.

MIA: Operation MEN

Dec. 30th, 2:00pm - 3:30pm, Elite 2

Men’s time is a highlight for me! I get to connect with my brothers, hear a great speaker and really solidify all that God has been teaching me already. Bros, let’s represent!

MIA: Operation WOMEN

Dec. 30th, 2:00pm - 3:30pm, Main Ballroom

Hey Ladies! You already know what time it is! This is our Women’s Time session for college women to talk, pray, share and reflect. This time promises to be encouraging and insightful. Meet me there!

MIA: Operation Lead

Dec. 30th, 4:00pm - 5:30pm

West, South, Northeast – Treme 1; Midwest – Treme 2; Southeast – Trianon 1 As a leader, I value every opportunity that I have to meet with staff from Impact, as well as bouncing ideas and hearing stories from other student leaders. I wouldn't miss this time for the world; it helps me to grow and helps me to lead on my campus more effectively. Will you be there?

Network track MIA: Operation Connect

Dec. 29th: 11:00a-12:30pm, Bolden

“I am bored. I really want a social life within my season of life, but I just can’t get with the club scene and bar hopping. I am used to having a Christian community but where I am now isn’t cutting it.” Maybe you feel this way too. Are you the new person? Or maybe you are one of only a few single men, maybe you have all the female community you need as a female but desire more male/female community or maybe a married couple looking for other godly couples to connect with. Let’s discuss how to intentionally create community around you that will benefit your social and spiritual life.

MIA: Operation Fruit

Dec. 29th: 2:00-3:30pm, Bolden

If you are like me, at some point in your journey with God, you begin to ask yourself questions. There seems to be a dividing line between the religious church-going experience and a personal life-giving relationship with Jesus. What does true repentance look like? How do you live a Spirit-filled life in a profane world? Every tree bears fruit; what does your fruit say about you?

MIA: Operation Impact

Dec. 30th, 11:00am - 12:30pm, Elite

I used to always wonder how I could be more involved with Impact. I have such an amazing time each year at conference and really see the need of continuing my experience beyond once a year. Well, each of our involvement could look very different. If you miss the Impact Opportunity Fair... YOU WILL BE SORRY!! Come find out about the MANY things Impact has to offer.

MIA: Operation Discontent

Dec. 30th: 2:00-3:30pm, Network Men in Bolden & Network Women in Oliver

“My dream is deferred. In fact, this seems really unfair. I have been playing my cards right; I have a college degree or the equivalent experience AND I have been active both spiritually and civically.” I’m unhappy, and maybe you are too. Some call it a quarter-life crisis and others just call it discontentment. Either way, maybe you’re not in the relationship you thought you’d be in. Your job isn’t what you planned and you would have never imagined in a million years you would be where you are. This seminar wants us to be aware that our beef is with God! Come check it out. IMPACT12 - MISSION IN ACTION

MIA: Operation Life

Dec. 30th: 4:00-5:30pm, Bolden

This seminar is for Alumni and Church Leaders. Many people are planting churches! In fact, the number of churches is growing rapidly! In this seminar we want to talk to you about our role in bringing life to our communities of faith! Maybe you are the change – the life – that is needed in your congregation. Come, interact with church leaders and figure out how.

Church Leaders Track MIA: Operation Listen

Dec. 29th: 11:00am-12:30pm, Ory

As a church leader, sometimes we forget that God has given insight to the people that we serve. Especially our youth; in order for us to reach them, we have to listen to them. Come with me and listen to a panel of young people give insight to this generation.

MIA: Operation Construct

Dec. 29th: 2:00-3:30pm, Ory

If you are anything like me, you have a heart to reach out to young people and young adults in your city but how to do it effectively is usually the problem. This seminar will talk about building a college and career ministry, why it is needed and practical tips on how to do this efficiently.

MIA: Operation Equip

Dec. 30th: 2:00-3:30pm, Ory

I have been thinking a lot about legacy; what will my church, my community be like when I’m gone? Then I look at the upcoming generation and I see the need to equip them as the future of our communities, government and our churches. This seminar will share resources and valuable tools that could be helpful in equipping our young people for their future ministries.

MIA: Operation Life

Dec. 30th: 4:00-5:30pm, Bolden

This seminar is for Church Leaders and Alumni. The number of churches is growing rapidly! Some have said this is because some churches that currently exist are dying. In this seminar we want to talk to you about finding people within your ministries that can bring life to your communities of faith! Come, interact with young adults and figure out how to work together.
