of the Association of Property Owners of The Hideout, Inc.

Foreword

The Board of Directors has approved the following Consolidated Rules and Regulations for the Association. They are in addition to, and do not supersede the provisionsofthe Association’s Protective Covenants, Bylaws, Environmental Control Committee (ECC) Rules, and/ortheprovisionsmadebyanygoverningauthority.

These rules have been established to provide guidance and clarification when seeking services at our amenities. We urge our Members, Guests and Tenants to adhere to these guidelines so we may ensure the highest quality experience for everyone at The Hideout. Violation of these rules and regulations may result in appearancebeforetheDisciplinaryCommittee,asestablishedunder theauthoritygrantedbyHideoutBylawsArticleIV,Section9.

The Declaration of Protective Covenants of The Hideout, Article 10, Section C reads as follows:

Purposes: The purposes of the Association are to promote the common interests of its Members, to operate, maintain, repair, and replace the common areas and to promulgate and enforce Rules and Regulationsgoverningtheuse andenjoyment of the commonareas.

Definitions

Amenity: AllCommonAreasownedbytheAssociationassetforthintheDeclarationas:

i. Allstreets,lakes,parks,recreationalandcommunityfacilitiesandallother areasintheDevelopmentnotsubdividedintoLots,excepttheareasdesignated asTracts1,4,5,8,13,2222A,25,26,26Aand33onthePlatandallwaterand sewerlines,mainsandequipmentatanytimeinstalledinanystreetinthe Development;

ii. All real property which may be designated by Declarant as Common Areas in anymaporinstrument(includinganyinstrumentofconveyancefromDeclarant totheAssociation)hereafterrecorded;and

iii. AllrealpropertyacquiredbytheAssociation,whetheracquiredfromDeclarant orotherwise.

Association: AssociationofPropertyOwnersofTheHideout,Inc.,aPennsylvanianot-forprofitcorporation.

Board of Directors (“Board”): Thegroupofpersonsvestedwiththemanagementofthe businessandaffairsoftheAssociationasismorefullyset forthinTheHideoutBylaws,as amendedDecember29,1979.

Bylaws: Thewrittencodeorcodesofrulesfortheregulationormanagementofthebusiness andaffairsoftheAssociationasadoptedfromtimetotime,asamendedDecember29,1979.

Campers: Recreationalvehicle/mobilehomes,anyvehicle,self-propelledorpulled,used forhousingortravel.

Common Areas: Allpropertyincluded,fromtimetotime,withinthedefinitionof“Common Areas”setforthintheDeclaration. See“Amenity”definitionabove.

Contractor: Aperson,company,orcorporationperformingserviceswithinTheHideout. ThisincludestheContractor’semployeesand/ortheiragents.

Declaration: TheDeclarationofProtectiveCovenantsoftheDeveloperdatedasofMay11, 1970,asthesamemaybesupplementedoramendedfromtimetotime.

Developer (“Declarant”): BoiseCascadeRecreationCommunitiesand itssuccessorsand assigns.

Development: AlloftherealpropertyknownasTheHideout,asubdivision,situatedinthe TownshipsofLakeandSalem,WayneCounty,Pennsylvania,asthesameisreferredtointhe DeclarationofProtectiveCovenants,whichisdulyrecordedintheRecorderofDeedsOffice inandforWayneCounty,Pennsylvania.

Elected Official: An officer of a body elected by the Membership of the Association, includingbutnotlimitedtotheBoardofDirectorsandNominatingCommittee,inwhomis vested the authority by the Protective Covenants, Bylaws and/or other governing documents, or to whom the authority has been delegated, to appoint, or to recommend individualsforappointment,election,oradvancement.(AmendedApril1,2023)

Emotional Support Animal (ESA): Emotional Support Animals, also called companion animals,donotreceivespecialtrainingtoperformtasksthatassistpeoplewithdisabilities, and are not limited to dogs. ESAs have a strong human-animal bond with their Owners, allowingthemtogivesupporttopeoplewithamental,emotional,orpsychiatricdisability. InPennsylvania,ESAsarenotguaranteedaccesstopublicplacesandbusinessesinthesame waythatserviceanimalsare. (AmendedMarch19,2022)

Employee: Apersoncurrentlyontheemploymentrecordsof theAssociationofProperty OwnersofTheHideout,Inc.,workingforcompensationeitherfullorpart-time.

Family Pass: “Family” as it relates to “Family Pass” set forth in the Amenity Fee Guide, includes the Member, their spouse and their dependent children only, living in the same household, or a Member’s Guest, their spouseand theirdependent children only, living in thesamehousehold. (AmendedJanuary21,2023)

Guest: All spouses, dependent children and legal dependents of Class B & C Associate Members;inviteesof:(a)Members,(b)ClassAAssociateMembersand(c)Tenants.

Guest Amenity Fee: ThefeechargedtoaGuestforuseofaHideoutamenityassetforthin theAmenityFeeGuide

Household Pet: HouseholdPetsmeansdomesticanimalsordinarilypermittedinaplaceof residence,keptforcomfort,companyandpleasure,suchasdogs,cats,domesticbirds,guinea pigs,whiterats,rabbits,mice,andothersimilaranimalsgenerallyconsideredbythepublic tobekeptaspets,excludingfowl. Foraone(1)familyresidence,acombinationofdogsor catsisnottoexceedthemaximumoffive(5)total. Rabbits,domesticbirdsandothersimilar animalsarepermitted,wherethetotalnumberofanimalsinone(1)placeofresidenceshall notexceedfive(5). Allpuppiesandkittensoverthesetlimitofresidencefive(5)shallbe properlyremovedbythetenth(10th)weekofbirth.(AmendedMarch19,2022)

Improved Lot: A Lot shall be considered “improved” upon the approval of a new SingleFamily Dwelling Permit. If no work is performed under the new Single-Family Dwelling Permit, the Lot will revert to “unimproved” status upon the Permit expiring. If trees are cleared under a new Single-Family Dwelling Permit, the Lot shall remain as “improved” indefinitely,regardlessofdwellingcompletion. Thisdoesnotpertaintotreesremovedupon HideoutPOArequestforsafetyconcerns. (AmendedJanuary21,2023)

Lot: Any Lot in the Development included from time to time within the definition of “ResidentialLot”setforthintheDeclaration.

Member: ThosepersonshavingmembershiprightsintheAssociationinaccordancewith theprovisionsoftheBylaws.

Member In Good Standing: AMemberwhohasnotdefaultedonanyfinancialobligations to the Association for all Lots owned and has not breached any other obligations under communitylegaldocuments. (AmendedMarch31,2004)

Motor Vehicle: Any vehicle powered by a motor or engine which the Commonwealth of Pennsylvaniarequirestoberegisteredand/orlicensed.

Owner: Anynaturalperson,firm,corporation,trustorentitywhoholdsfeetitletoaLotor anundividedinterestinfeetitletoaLot;anypersonwhohascontractedtopurchasefee titletoaLotoranundividedinterestinfeetitletoaLotunderwrittenagreement,inwhich casethesellerundersaidagreementshallceasetobethe"Owner"whilesaidagreementis ineffect;oranylesseeofaLotunderarecordedleasefromtheOwnerofthefeetitletosaid Lotforatermofnotlessthanfifty(50)years,inwhichcasethelessorundersaidlease shallceasetobethe"Owner"whilesaidleaseisineffect.

Policy: ThewrittenregulationsorcourseofconductadoptedandfollowedbytheBoardof DirectorsinthegoverningandoperationofTheHideout.

Relative: Withrespecttoan ElectedOfficial,anindividualwhoisrelatedasfather,mother, son,daughter,brother,sister,uncle,aunt,firstcousin,nephew,niece,husband,wife,fatherin-law,mother-in-law,son-in-law,daughter-in-law,brother-in-law,sister-in-law,stepfather, stepmother, stepson, stepdaughter, stepbrother, stepsister, half-brother, and half-sister. Self-Contained Vessel: A self-contained vessel is a commercially manufactured device specificallydesignedtocontainfireforrecreationalpurposes. (AmendedJuly29,2023)

Service Animal: Under the ADA, a Service Animal is defined as a dog that has been individually trained to do work or perform tasks or do work for the benefit of or for an individualwithadisability. Thetask(s)performedbythedogmustbedirectlyrelatedtothe person’sdisability. UnderPennsylvanialawand(ADA),peoplewithdisabilitiesmaybring theirserviceanimalstoallpublicaccommodations. (AmendedMarch19,2022)

Single Family Dwelling: Single family dwelling means a residential dwelling for one or morepersonseachrelatedtotheotherbyblood,marriageorlegaladoption,oragroupof not more than three (3) persons not so related, together with their domestic servants, maintainingacommonhouseholdinsuchdwelling.

Social Member: If a Member chooses to purchase a social membership for their NondependentchildrenandGuests,theSocialMembershallbeconsideredAssociateMembers oftheAssociationforthesolepurposeofenjoyingourlicensedpremises(i.e.,Clubhouseand TikiBar). ThelicensedpremisesAssociateMembershavenovotingrightsorrighttonotice ofanyregularorspecialmeetingofMembers. MembersmaypurchaseaSocialMembership cardfromtheRegistrationdepartment. SocialMembershipcardsexpireoneyearfromthe issuancedate. ASocialMembershipisaprivilegegrantedbyTheHideoutandisnotaright. ItisgrantedordeniedatthediscretionofTheBoard. ASocialMembershipisrevocableatwill by any Bartender on a temporary basis and by Management on a permanent basis. (AmendedDecember22,2014)

Spark Arrestor: A spark arrestor shall be considered a device made from metal screening that contains sparks and embers produced byanopen fire in efforts to stopignitionof nearby combustible materials. The spark arrestor’s size should conform to the mouth of the device containing the open fire. (Amended July 29, 2023)

Tenant: ApersonorpersonsenteringintoaleaseofaprivatehomeofaMember.One coupleanddependents,ornotmorethanthreeunrelatedadults,areconsidered"Tenants" forAmenityusepurposes.Allothersareconsidered"GuestsofTenant."

Vendor: Aperson,companyorcorporationdeliveringmaterial,suppliesorgoodswithin TheHideoutonaday-to-daybasis.

Watercraft: Includes but is not limited to: boats, catamarans, canoes, kayaks, inflatables, personalwatercraft/jet-skis,andtrailer-conveyedboatsofasizelargerthanispermissible onAssociationlakes(storageonly)

Administrative Rules

A. Rules Regarding Members:

1. ApropertyOwnerwill notbeconsideredaMemberInGoodStandinguntilalldues andassessmentsarecurrentonallpropertiesowned. (AmendedMay18,2003)

2. Current membership identification must be obtained from the Registration departmentbyMarch31eachyear,andmustbeproperlydisplayedatalltimes. Upon paymentinfullofdues,assessments,fines,andcharges,Memberswillreceivecurrent vehicleandAmenityidentificationmaterials

3. AllMembers,GuestsandTenantsmustpossessanddisplayvalidGuestandAmenity BadgesatalltimeswhenusingHideoutamenities

4. Access to The Hideout is restricted to Members, Guests, Tenants, Contractors, Vendors,andEmployees. IfaMember’sGuest,Tenant,Contractorand/orVendoris going to be in The Hideout when the Member is not present, the Member must providenoticetothePublicSafetyDepartment.

5. HideoutMembersareresponsibleforanydamagecausedbythemselves,theirminor children or their Guests, Tenants, Contractors and/or Vendors and further shall be held responsible for any removal or damage to Hideout property caused by themselves,theirchildren,theirGuests,Tenants,Contractorsand/orVendors.

6. ChangescanbemadetotheproxytoreflectaspotforaMembertodesignateanother MemberInGoodStandingtovoteontheirbehalfattheAnnualMeeting.(Amended July12,2003)

B. Rules Regarding Guests

1. WhentheMemberisatTheHideout,Guestswillbeadmittedonlyonpriorwrittenor verbal notice to the Public Safety Officer at the Main Gate. Upon arrival, the Guest must present their driver’s license and vehicle registration in order to obtain a VehicleGuestPass. TheVehicleGuestPassmustbeplacedontherear-viewmirror andbevisibleatalltimeswhileonHideoutproperty. Guestswillnotbepermitted accesstoHideoutamenitieswithoutpresentingaGuestBadgeprovidedtothemby theMembertheyarevisiting.

2. WhenaMemberisabsentfromTheHideout,priorwrittennoticefromtheMember isrequiredforadmittanceofGuests,whichshallincludethefollowinginformation:

a. NameofMemberandsignature,

b. Hideoutaddress,

c. Homeaddress,

d. Lot#,

e. NameofGuest(s),

f. Hideoutphonenumber,

g. AddressofGuest(s),and h. Homephonenumber.

3. APinNumberisacceptableinlieuofwritteninformationdescribedin#2above.

4. DISRUPTIVE GUEST POLICY (Amended June 7, 2024): Anyone found to have committedanyactioninTheHideoutunderthePennsylvaniaCrimesCodethat,inthe discretionoftheCommunityManagerinconsultationwiththePublicSafetyDirector (if available), whether it be a Summary, Misdemeanor or Felony offense, can be ordered offof TheHideoutproperty. Inthe eventtheindividualwillnot leave, the StatePolicemaybecalledtoarresttheoffenderfortrespass

C. Rules Regarding Tenants

Complete rental rules and all rental forms are available on The Hideout website at: https://www.hideoutassoc.com/Rentals

1. Anyhomethatisrentedmustberentedinitsentirety,andmaynotbeoccupiedin part by the Owner during the rental period. Owners relinquish their amenity privilegesduringarentalperiod. Ownerswithmorethan one Lot shallbeableto usetheamenitiesiftheydonotrentalltheirLots.

2. The Owner maintains the ultimate responsibility for the Tenant’s compliance with The Hideout’s Protective Covenants, Bylaws, and Consolidated Rules and Regulations (Governing Documents). The Owner will be required to attest on eachshort-termRentalAgreementthatacopyofTheHideout’sConsolidatedRules andRegulationshasbeenprovidedtotheprimaryTenant.

3. Owners are not permitted to rent their property to anyone, who within the last two (2) years, has been convicted of a crime as is defined in the Pennsylvania Crimes Code or has violated the Rental Rules and Regulations. Tenantswhoare Not In Good Standing will be prevented from using the Association’s amenities and/orfromrenewingtheRentalAgreement. TheAssociationreservestherightto refuseentrytoanyTenantwhohasnotcompliedwithHideoutrentalpolicies.

4. Rental Agreements are non-transferrable. Rental Agreements may not be assigned,sublet,transferredorsharedbetweentwoseparateentitiesorparties.

5. All rental properties must be registered with The Hideout POA annually. The rentalperiodshallfollowthecalendaryearofJanuary1–December31. Thereisan initialapplicationfeeof$1,000.00toregisterasashort-termrentalproperty,anda $500.00renewalfeeforeachyearthereafter.

a. At the time of initial application for long-term and short-term rental properties,theOwnerisrequiredtosubmitacopyofthecurrentrecorded Deed for the property, along with floor and on-site parking plans. Additionally,forshort-termrentals,acopyoftheMunicipalPermitissuedby LakeorSalemTownshipisrequiredwitha$1,000initialapplicationfee.

b. Rental Fees will be set by the Board of Directors each year. A completed RentalAgreementForm(indicatingeachandeveryTenant,includinganyone accompanying a Tenant), and the Rental Fee payable to The Hideout POA must be submitted a minimum of two (2) POA business days prior to the beginningoftherentalperiodforeachrentaloccurrence. ALateFilingFee, setbytheBoardofDirectors,willbeappliedforrentalsnotregisteredand

paidforataminimumoftwo(2)POAbusinessdayspriortothebeginning oftherentalperiod. TheHideoutPOAbusinessdaysareTuesdaythrough Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.. The Hideout encourages Owners to complete and submit Rental Agreement Forms online at: https://www.hideoutassoc.com/Rentals.

c. Any rentals not registered and paid for will be considered “illegal Tenants” andmayresultintheissuanceofcitationsunderthefollowingfine structure:

• FirstOffense-$1,000.00fine.

• SecondOffense-$2,000.00fineandsix(6)monthsuspensionofrentals.

• ThirdOffenseandsubsequentoffenses -$3,000.00fineandpermanent suspensionofrentalprivileges.

6. Any violation of the Governing Documents by a Tenant subjects the Owner to possibledisciplinarymeasuresbeforetheDisciplinaryCommittee,inadditiontothe specificcitationfine. TheOwnermaybeadditionallyfined,and/orhaveprivileges suspended,and/orbeprohibitedfromrentingthepropertyinquestionforaperiod oftimeasdeterminedbytheDisciplinaryCommittee. Whenmakingtheirdecision, theDisciplinaryCommitteeshallconsiderthetotalityofthecircumstancesincluding, butnotlimitedto,pastproblems,theseverityoftheinfraction,thefrequencyofthe infraction(s), the willingness of the Owner to accept responsibility and work with The Hideout to remedy the problem, and any and all other information the Disciplinary Committee finds to be relevant. It shall be mandatory that a third violation of the Governing Documents shall result in referral to the Disciplinary Committee. Any registered short-term rental that receives three (3) citations for violating any Hideout Governing Document within a calendar year shall be denied the ability to rent that property for one (1) year starting from the date the third citation was issued. If any property is transferred to a non-family Member,theviolationhistoryforthatpropertyshallberesettozeroinfractions.

D. Safety Hazards

1. Firearms and Weapons:

a. Thedischargeofanyfirearmdefinedasaninstrumentusedinthepropulsionof shot, shell, bullet or any other object by the action of gunpowder exploded, explosivepowder,theexpansionofgasortheforceofamechanicaldeviceunder tension as well as any type of archery bow is not permitted in The Hideout. (AmendedJanuary23,2021)

b. Firearmsandweapons(openandconcealedcarry)areprohibitedinall Hideout amenitiesthatarelicensedtosellalcohol. (AmendedJanuary21,2023)

2. Hunting: HuntingwithinTheHideoutisstrictlyprohibited. Possessionoffirearms (open or concealed carry) must comply with the statutes of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

3. Fireworks: The use of fireworks is prohibited in The Hideout unless approved by the Board of Directors. (Amended June 5, 2010) Exception: Sparklers will be permitted on a Member’s private property, but they are prohibited at amenities. (AmendedJune11,2011)

4. Recreational Open Fire: ArecreationalopenfireispermittedonaMember’sLotas longasthefireiscontainedinaself-containedvesseldesignedandmanufacturedfor this purpose and when prudent safety precautions are taken. Manufactured steel ringsusedincombinationwitharockfirepitareaccepted. Useofasparkarrestor, in conjunction with a self-contained vessel is required. Spark arrestors must be readilyavailableatalltimes. Amethodtoextinguishthefiremustbewithinthirty (30) feet of the self-contained vessel. Members must abide by all Lake and Salem Townshipfirecodes. (AmendedJuly29,2023)

5. Drones: Consistent with Title 18, Section 3505 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, it is prohibited to intentionally or knowingly operate a drone to conduct surveillance of another person in a private place, operate in a manner that places anotherpersoninfearofbodilyinjuryortodeliver,provideandtransmitcontraband. AllexceptionsintheStatuteshallapply. InaccordancewithPart107ofChapter14 oftheCodeofFederalRegulations,dronesshallbeoperatedandregisteredconsistent to Federal Aviation Administration rules and be marked on the outside with the registrationnumberandflyershallcarryproofofregistration. (AmendedSeptember 26, 2020, Resolution 20-64). Please note that under the Bald and Golden Eagle Protection Act, it is unlawful to operate drones or any other man-powered craft within300feetoffederallyprotectedeaglenests.

E. Domestic Pet Policies

1. Registration Required: All pets, emotional support animals, and service animals, mustberegistered(nofee)throughtheRegistrationdepartmentonanannualbasis. Alldogsmustbelicensedfromtheirstateoforiginandpossesscurrentvaccinations asrequiredbylaw(proofofvaccinationisrequired). (AmendedMarch19,2022)

2. Maximum 5 Pets: ItshallbeaviolationofHideoutRulesforanypropertyOwner, including their family, Guests or Tenants to shelter or maintain more than five (5) pets (dogand catscombined total)onanyHideoutproperty/dwelling Lot unit. All puppies and kittens over the set limit of five (5) shall be properly removed by the tenthweekofbirth.

3. Dog Park & Walking Trail: DogsareallowedattheDogParkandWalkingTrailonly iftheyareregisteredwiththeRegistrationdepartment. TousetheDogParkamenity, Members must register their dog with the Registration department on an annual basis. DogsmaybeoffleashonlywheninsidetheDogPark. Itistheresponsibilityof thepetOwnertocleanupandremovepetexcrement.

4. Pets must be leashed and kept under the Owner’s control at all times. It is the responsibility of the pet Owner to clean up and remove pet excrement.

F. Disturbances

1. Theunreasonableoperationofanykindofnoiseinsuchamannerastodisturbother individualsisprohibited. Theoperationofmotorvehicles,includingmotorcyclesand watercraft, with loud or defective mufflers, or in a manner to produce or result in soundlevelsdisturbingtoothers,isprohibited.

MondaythroughThursdayQuietHoursconcludeat7:00amandbeginat10:00pm.

FridayQuietHoursconcludeat7:00amandbeginat11:00pm.

SaturdayQuietHoursconcludeat9:00amandbeginat11:00pm.

AllfederalholidayswillfollowSaturdayQuietHoursschedule.

Contractor Hours inTheHideoutareasfollows:

MondaythroughFriday7:00amthrough5:00pm.

Saturdays9:00amthrough5:00pm.

Improvement Contractors are prohibited from working in The Hideout on the followingholidays: NewYear’sDay,MartinLutherKing'sBirthday,President'sDay, MemorialDay,FourthofJuly,LaborDay,ThanksgivingDay,andChristmasDay.

2. DoortodoorsolicitationsofanykindarenotpermittedinTheHideout.

3. Verbal and/or physical harassment of staff and/or other Members is prohibited. (AmendedJanuary16,2010)

Licensed Premises Rules (Clubhouse, Lodge, Tiki Bar)

We ask our Members and Guests to respect the following rules and guidelines. A valid amenitybadgeisrequiredatalllicensedpremises.

1. Appropriateattireisexpected.

2. Thepossessionoffirearmsandweaponsareprohibited(openorconcealedcarry)inall Hideoutamenitiesthatarelicensedtosellalcohol. (AmendedJanuary21,2023)

3. Our licensed premises will not sell or furnish alcoholic beverages to persons showing visiblesignsofintoxication.

4. Our licensed premiseswill not sell or furnish alcoholic beverages topersons under 21 yearsofagetopurchase,possess,orconsumeanyalcoholicbeverages.

5. Ourlicensedpremiseswillnotpermitminorsatthebarunlessaccompaniedbyaparent, legalguardian,orunderthepropersupervisionofanadultover25yearsofage.

6. Aircompressedand/orotherpressurizedpropellantscontainingconfettiand/orglitter areprohibitedatallHideoutindooramenities. (AmendedMarch18,2023)

7. SocialMembership: MembersmaypurchaseaSocialMembershipfortheirGuestswhich allowsforthepurchaseofalcoholatHideoutlicensedpremises. ASocialmembershipis only valid for the purchase of alcohol from the issue date through March 31 of the following year. It is the Member’s responsibility to advise Social Members that a government issued photo ID, a Guest Badge AND their Social Membership Card are requiredinordertopurchasealcoholatHideoutlicensedpremises. Socialmembership isaprivilege,notaright,grantedbyTheHideout. Itisgrantedordeniedatthediscretion oftheBoardofDirectors. Asocialmembershipisrevocableat-willbyanybartenderon atemporarybasisandbymanagementonapermanentbasis. SocialMembershaveno righttovoteorrighttonoticeofanyregularorspecialmeetingofMembers.

Environmental Rules

Environmental Control Committee (ECC) Rules and Enforcement

Please see The Hideout Environmental Control Committee (ECC) Manual for complete ECC definitions, rules and regulations. The Hideout ECC Manual is available on The Hideout website at: https://www.hideoutassoc.com/Resources/Permits.

1. NoimprovementshallbemadeonanyLotwithoutpriorapprovaloftheEnvironmental Control Committee. This shall include but not be limited to houses, garages, additions, porches, decks, sheds, docks, landscaping, signs, driveways, parking areas (paved or stone)andculvertpiping.

2. DoNOTstartworkuntilyouhaveanapprovedpermit.AnyLotimprovementperformed withoutsecuringtheproperpermit willresultin the Lot Ownerbeingassessed anonrefundable $250 fine. A non-refundable fine of $500 will be assessed for a second violation.

3. There shall be no improvements or landscaping made on residential Lots within road rights-of-waywithoutpriorwrittenapprovaloftheEnvironmentalControlCommittee. AllOwnersareremindedthattheyareboundbytheDeclarationofProtectiveCovenants,, theBylaws,theConsolidatedRulesandRegulations,andtheECCrulesandprocedures (ECCR)ofTheHideout,aswellasthePennsylvaniaBuildingCode.

4. Notreeoverthreeinchesindiametermaybecutdownwithoutpriorwrittenconsentof theEnvironmentalControlCommittee(ECC).

5. No pier, dock or other structure shall be built without prior written permission of the EnvironmentalControlCommittee(ECC),whichpermissionshallbearevocablelicense. Failure of Contractor to observe this rule may result in revocation of their privilege to workwithinTheHideout. (PleaseseetreeremovalpoliciesonTheHideoutwebsite).

6. NosignshallbeerectedonanyresidentialLotwithoutEnvironmentalControlCommittee (ECC) approval. The term signs shall mean signs, banners, flags, or portrayal of such, whichareformsofadvertisingorimplyadvertising,arenotallowedinthe community. Thisincludespoliticalmaterial,namesandcompanies,whichclearlyimplyadvertising. Excludedwouldbesportingandnon-advertisingbanners/flags. (AmendedJanuary23, 2021,Motion21-15)

7. Advertising of any nature shall not be posted or circulated on the premises without obtaining the approval of the Community Manager and/or Environmental Control Committee(Covenants-ECC).

8. All color schemes will require review and approval by the Environmental Control Committee(ECC).Anaturalcolorschemewillsetthestandardforcolorreview.

9. A Member is allowed to apply for an extension of one additional six-month period withoutarenewalfeeonanynormalECCsix-monthpermit.Iftheworkisnotcompleted after the extension period, an additional permit application with appropriate fee paid must be submitted and a new permit obtained. In addition, a no-fee permit will be requiredforreplacementtypeprojectsoverseenbytheECC (AmendedJune6,2009)

10. AllContractorswillbelimitedtoanyworkrelativetoconstructionorrepairs,Mondays through Fridays, between the hours of 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., except in an emergency and with the permission of the Environmental Control

Committee. No work without special permission of the Environmental Control CommitteeonSundaysandholidays.

11. Owners are permitted to do home improvements on Sunday following the same regulationsasSaturday. (ResolvedJune11,1999).

12. TheECCfinestructureforanyECCviolationis$150.Repeatviolationsarecitedandincur thesamepenaltyastheinitialoffenseplusa$50.00non-refundableadministrationfee. Total of fines will be in a cumulative amount (1st fine $150.00, 2nd fine $200, total $350.00)AllECCcitationsmustbecorrectedwithin30daysoranothercitationwillbe issued. The second citation must be corrected within 14 days. Any citation may be appealed.TheEnvironmentalManagermayusediscretionaryjudgmentforanyextreme hardshipcase(s).However,repeatviolatorswillbesubjecttoappearanceandreviewby the Disciplinary Committee for possible additional penalties. 13. RepeatoffendersonECCviolationswillbesenttotheDisciplinaryCommitteeforfining structure.(AmendedJune14,2002)

14. An emergency numbering system is mandatory as of September 1, 2002, adding that individual Lot numbers be added to the Lot Owners sign post. ONLY developed Lots, thosewithhouses,arerequiredtohaveasignpostclearlydisplayingBOTHtheLotand 911 numbers on both sides of the post. Undeveloped Lots do not require a sign post. MandatorycomplianceandimplementationbyLotOwnerarerequiredbyJuly1,2017. (AmendedJuly30,2016)

15. Allnewdetachedgarages(maximum600sq.ft.)inTheHideoutrequireaconcretefloor perspecificationsbelow:

a. Construction of any detached garage in The Hideout will conform to the current International Residential Code (IRC 2009 Building Codes) as adopted by the CommonwealthofPennsylvania.

b. Concreteslabshallbeaminimumof4”thick.

c. Concreteslabtobeatleast3,500P.S.I.compressivestrength.Ifwiremeshisusedit shouldbeepoxycoated.Fiber-reinforcedconcreteisallowed.

16. A current as-built survey, indicating property lines, setbacks, and final locations of all permanent structures, is required for ECC permitting review/issuance as well as for residentialresaleinspectiontooccur. (ApprovedSeptember21,2019)

Contractor Rules

1. Contractor hours are Monday through Friday 7:00am through 5:00pm, and Saturdays from9:00amthrough5:00pm. Improvementcontractorsareprohibitedfromworking inTheHideoutonthefollowingholidays: NewYear’sDay,MartinLutherKing'sBirthday,

President's Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and ChristmasDay.

2. HideoutBuildingPermits,inadditiontoanylocalTownshippermits,arealmostalways required for any exterior alteration, whether or not said alteration involves structural modifications or fees. Always consult with the Environmental Department prior to performingLotimprovementwork.

3. Public Safety personnel enforce the Pennsylvania vehicle code with regard to the operation of vehicles on Hideout roadways. Contractors must obey all posted speed limits.

4. All Hideout dumpsters are for household refuse only. Contractors are prohibited from usingthedumpstersforconstructiondebris.

5. AllContractorsworkingwithinTheHideoutarerequiredtomaintainvalidinsuranceas listedbelow:

a. Workers’CompensationInsuranceasrequiredbylaw.

b. Publicliabilityandpropertydamageinsuranceunderwhichthe“Associationof PropertyOwnersofTheHideout,Inc.”andtheOwnershallbenamedadditional insuredpropertyprotectingandindemnifyingtheOwnerandtheAssociationin an amount of not less than; $500,000 for injury to any one person (including death).–($1,000,000forpersonalinjuriesinanyone accident. -$500,000for propertydamage).

c. Comprehensiveautomobileliabilityandpropertydamageinsuranceofnotless than $300,000 to any one person and $500,000 to any one person in any one accidentandpropertydamageof$100,000.

6. Forshort-termcontracting,aone-dayorone-weekpass,tobeplacedonthedashboard or rearview mirror of the vehicle being used by a Contractor, will be available for a Contractortoaccess TheHideout. Thepassmaybeobtained atthePublicSafetyoffice locatedattheentranceto TheHideoutandwillallowContractorstoenterandexitthe communityduringestablishedContractorhoursforthetermoftheone-dayorone-week period.

7. Annual stickers for vehicles, permitting travel within The Hideout during established Contractorhours,willbeprovidedfreeofchargetoanybusinessvehiclebelongingtoa Contractorfollowingthepresentationofproperinsurance,aPAContractor’sregistration cardandvalidvehicleregistration.Thesestickersmustberenewedeachyear.

8. AgateaccesscardmaybepurchasedbyaContractorinexchangeforaone-timefee.The gateaccesscardwillberegisteredwithonespecificvehicleandremainvalidforthelife ofthesamevehicle.Pleasenote:Agateaccesscarddoesnotfunctionasaformofvehicle identification.Allvehicleswithagateaccesscardmusthavepropervehicleidentification as listed above. The gate access card permits the holder entrance into The Hideout without having to wait for Public Safety personnel to manually open the gate during Contractorhours.

9. AnylicensedvehiclewithsignageownedbyaContractordoingworkwithavalidbuilding permitataLotshallremovesuchvehicleaftertheestablishedworkinghours.(Amended June2010)

a. Anylicensed/registeredequipmenttrailerwithorwithoutsignage,ownedbya Contractor,activelyperformingworkwithavalidHideoutbuildingpermit,may leavethevehicleon-siteduringthenormalworkweek(Monday7amtoFriday 5pm). Thetrailershouldbeparkedasfarinthedrivewayaspossible.Alltrailers must be removed for all Hideout recognized holidays and weekends. All construction debris must be picked up and removed. If project work is suspended on the Lot during the week, the trailer must be removed immediately. Non-compliancewillresultin afine, and additionalpenaltiesfor repeatoffenseswillbeimposeduptoandincludinglossofHideoutprivileges. (AmendedSeptember24,2016)

Rules Regarding Improvements

1. Permits are required in The Hideout. In addition, local township permits may be required Hideout Building Permits, in addition to any local Township permits, are almost always required for any exterior alteration, whether or not said alteration involves structural modifications or fees. Always consult with The Hideout EnvironmentalDepartmentpriortoperformingLotimprovementwork.

2. Everyimprovement,oncebegun,shallbecompletedwithinsixmonths.

3. Each Lot whether occupied or unoccupied, and all improvements, shall at all times be maintained in good and clean condition. Management shall take necessary corrective actionandbilltheOwneriftheyfailtocomplywiththisregulation.

4. AnyLot improvementperformed withoutsecuringtheproperpermitwillresultin the homeownerbeingassessed anon-refundable$250fine. Anon-refundablefineof$500 willbeassessedforasecondviolation.(AmendedSeptember29,2012)

5. AllimprovementsmustconformtotheBuildingCodesadoptedbytheCommonwealthof Pennsylvania, local townships, local authorities, the ECC Rules & Regulations, and the DeclarationofProtectiveCovenantsofTheHideout.

6. Building permits will not be issued to a Member who is not current on dues and assessments for ALL properties owned. (Amended May 18, 2003) Upon a Members failure to remain in Good Standing, all permits will be revoked. Management is authorized to extend the permit in such instances where revoking said permit shall constituteanimminentdangertothemembershiportorepairdamagetotheproperty. (AmendedApril9,2005).

7. Any land use, building or tree removal permit issued by The Hideout POA shall be consideredaRevocableLicense. ARevocableLicensemaybeterminatedbyTheHideout POA at any time during the term of the license agreement with cause. (Amended September23,2023)

8. Owners/Contractors are required to replace all trees removed prior to or during constructionofanewhomeorstructureduetospecialcircumstancesand/orhardship designation. This tree replacement should be completed within six (6) months of the issuance of a certificate of occupancy. (Amended September 16, 2006) (Refer to Tree ProgramSeptember2014onthewebsite).

9. The use of protective barriers for the containment of soil and debris during any constructionactivitytakingplaceonaMemberownedpropertyisthepropertyOwner’s responsibilitywhethertheworkisbeingperformedbythemselves,aGuest,theirTenant

orahiredContractor.Thisrulealsoappliestoanyworkactivitiesbeingperformedinour CommonAreas,roadsoranyAmenitywhetherperformedbyTheHideoutMaintenance department,RS&Wpersonnel,oroutsideContractors.(AmendedApril19,2008)

10. AllContractorsareremindedthattheyarealsoboundbyTheDeclarationofProtective Covenants,theBylaws,theConsolidatedRulesandRegulationsofTheHideout,aswell astheBuildingCode Violationofsaiddocumentsmayresultinrevocationof working privilegeswithinTheHideout.

Other Environmental Rules

1. The disposal of household trash and recyclables anywhere in The Hideout other than Association-maintained dumpsters and compactors provided for this purpose is prohibitedandwillbeconsideredlittering. Litteringissubjecttoafineof$250.00fora first-offense. All Members must participate in our recycling effort. Building material mayNOTbediscardedinAssociation-maintaineddumpstersandcompactors.

2. TheuseoffertilizersandlaundrydetergentsthatcontainphosphorusisbannedinThe Hideout.ItistheOwner’sresponsibilitytoensureself-complianceaswellascompliance fortheirGuests,Tenants,andanyhiredlawnmaintenanceContractor.(AmendedApril 19,2008)

3. The raking or blowing of leaves, grass clippings, twigs or any debris into our lakes, streamsorculvertsisbanned.(AmendedApril19,2008)

4. ShoulditbecomenecessaryforRS&Wtoworkinapropertyeasementarea,theOwner maybecalledupontoimmediatelyremovelandscaping.

5. ThefeedingofanywildlifewithinTheHideoutisprohibitedandissubjecttoaninitial citation and fine in the amount of one thousand dollars ($1,000.00). Please note the followingexceptions:

a. Birds: AnyonewhochoosestofeedbirdscandosoONLYiftheyuseabirdfeeder unit(s)thatarekeptataminimumheightofeight(8)feetabovegroundlevel. Violator(s) of this rule are subject to a citation and fine in the amount of one thousanddollars($1,000.00).

b. Feral/CommunityCats: Thefeedingofferal(community)catsmayONLYoccur atP.O.A.approvedandmonitoredTNRsite(s),undersupervisedconditions,and only by approved TNR volunteer(s). Violator(s) of this rule are subject to a citationandfineintheamountofonethousanddollars($1,000.00). (Amended December18,2015)

6. Each Owner shall keep drainage ditches and swales located on their Lot free, unobstructed,andingoodrepair.

7. Use of invisible electric fencing which will constitute compliance with The Hideout’s Rules&Regulationsanditsuse,willbeconsideredashavingapetundercontrol.The ECCrecommendsthatMemberswishingtoinstallaninvisibleelectricfencemustfirst obtainano-feepermitfromtheP.O.A.whichwillensureproperinstallation, setbacks, andsignage.Thesetbackisestablishedat25feetfromfrontand5feetfromsides.

8. Stones,boulders,trees,shrubsandotherlandformsorplantmaterialonaLotshallnot bepainted,stained,orcoatedwithmanmadematerialorproduct(eithertransparentor opaque)thatwouldchangethatfeature’sexteriorappearance.

9. Nosigns,lights,reflectorsorotherobjectsareallowedtobepermanentlyattachedtoa treebyuseofanail,screw,bracketorsimilardamagingmeans. Smallobjectssuchas birdfeeders,birdhouses,windchimes,planters,decorations(holidayandthelike)are permitted only if hung from a branch and without causing damage to the tree. Bird feedersmustbeatleast8feetofftheground. Rope/string/holidayribbons,bows,and lightsmaybelooselytied around atreesoastoavoid damagetothetree. Allholiday themed decorations must be taken down no later than two (2) weeks after that particularholidayhaspassed. AnyexceptionstothisrulemaybeallowedpendingECC reviewandapproval.Objectsthatmaybepermanentlyattachedtotreeswhichdonot require ECC review and approval, and are intended solely for the purpose of tree safety/riskhazardareasfollows: lightningrods,bracerods,cablingsystemsandtheir associatedhardware,allofwhicharetobeinstalledbyacertifiedarboristortreecare professionalandundergoroutineinspections.

10. TheuseofclotheslineswithinTheHideoutisprohibited. Dryingracksplacedoutof sightfromtheroadwaymaybeusedtemporarilyandbroughtinsideafteruse.

Public Safety Rules

A. Rules Subject to Fines

1. Finesmustbepaidwithinthirty(30)daystoretain“InGood Standing” statuswith the Association. If the Member wishes to contest the citation, they may request a hearingbeforetheDisciplinaryCommittee. IftheCommitteedecidestodismissthe citation,thefinewillberefundedtotheMember. (AmendedFebruary21,2023) See BylawsSection9.DisciplinaryProceduresforadditionalinformation.

2. Parkinginahandicappedzoneisprohibitedunlessthevehicledisplaysanauthorized handicapped parking identification. Violators are subject to an automatic $250.00 fineand/orvehiclebeingtowedforthisinfraction.

3. SecurityAlarms: A$25.00falsealarmservicechargewillbeassessedbeginningwith thethirdoccurrenceinthecalendaryear. (AmendedFebruary18,2006)

B. Vehicle Rules

1. TheCommonwealthofPennsylvaniaMotorVehicleCodeappliestotheoperationof vehiclesonallHideoutroads. Operatingamotorvehicleorwatercraftwhileimpaired or under the influence of alcoholic beverages or controlled substances is strictly prohibited. Weatherpermittingandunlessotherwiseposted,thespeedlimitonall Hideoutroadsis25mph,withtheexceptionofAntlerRoadwhichis15mph.

2. Allmotorvehiclesandneighborhoodelectricvehicles(NEVs),mustbeoperatedbya licenseddriverandmusthavevalidstateregistration.

3. Theoperationofsnowmobiles,all-terrainvehicles(ATVs),golfcarts,go-cartsandoffroadrecreationalvehiclesonHideoutroadsandHideoutcommonareasisprohibited. SnowmobilesandATVsmustcomplywithstateregulations.

4. Alloperatorsandpassengersofmotorcycles,mopeds,etc.,mustwearallsafetygear prescribedbythestatutesoftheCommonwealthofPennsylvania.

5. AlldeliveryvehiclesarepermittedtotravelonHideoutroadsforthepurpose ofloadingandunloadingpropertyorpassengers. Parkingonoratroads,Lots, Amenitiesand/orCommonAreasisprohibited.

6. CommercialVehicles: Thefollowingcommercialvehicles,oracombinationthereof, shall not be permitted on any of the Lots, Amenities, or Common Areas of The Hideout:

a. Bus,mobileormotorhomeofanykindornature(withtheexception of watercraftorsnowmobiletrailer). ThePublicSafetydepartment mayauthorizeemergencyparkingforonoroff-loading.

b. Anyvehicleexceeding10,000lbs.inunladenweight.

c. Anyvehicleexceedingtwenty-one(21)feetinlength.

d. Anyvehicleexceedingtheheightoften(10)feet.

Trailers: NotrailershallbestoredonanylotwithinTheHideoutPOAover thefollowinglength,width,height,andtowingcapacitylimitsasfollows:

• Enclosedtrailersmaynotexceedseven(7)feetinwidth,fourteen(14) feetinlength. Noenclosedtrailermayexceedaneight(8)footwall height.

• Opentrailersmaynotexceedseven(7)feetinwidthandtwenty(20) feetinlength. Opentrailersshallnotexceedseven-thousand(7,000) poundsintowingcapacity,nomatterthenumberofaxels.

NOTE: Nodumptrailersorhydraulicpoweredtrailersofanykindshallbe storedonanylot. Noletteringoradvertisingofanykindshallbepresenton trailersstoredonalot.

7. AbandonedVehicles: IfavehicleremainsonHideoutpropertyforaperiodinexcess offorty-eight(48)hours,itshallbeclassifiedasabandoned,andthevehiclemaybe removedattheOwner'sexpense. Afteraperiodofninety(90)days,avehicle,camper, watercraft,orotherpersonalpropertynotclaimedshallbedeemedabandonedand willbedisposedofatHideoutmanagement’sdiscretion.

8. TheHideoutrestrictsusagebyvehiclesofmorethantentonsgrossweightduringthe spring thaw conditions. The thaw conditions shall be reviewed by Hideout managementonadailybasis.Signswillbeconspicuouslypostedatalltheentrances advisingwhenandwheretherestrictionsareapplicable.(AmendedMarch19,2016)

9. VehiclesareprohibitedfromparkingonHideoutroads. Vehiclesshallnotparkless thanfive(5)feetfromtheedgeofanypavedroad. ThePublicSafetyManagermay grantauthorization/variancebyexception. Parkinganyvehicle(campers,watercraft, cars/trucks, etc.) at Hideout Common Areas is prohibited without Public Safety authorization/variance.

10. VEHICLE IDENTIFICATION: All vehicles operating in The Hideout must display proper Hideout ID (passes/stickers) at all times. (AmendedFebruary18,2006).

a. Memberswillreceivecurrentvehicleidentificationmaterialsfromthe Registration department upon payment in full of dues, assessments, fines,andcharges. Vehicleinformationmustbeupdatedannually.

b. GuestVehiclepasseswillbeissuedforaperiodofnotmorethanseven (7)days.

c. Tenants renting for a period of more than four (4) months will be issued asticker. Allthoserentingforlessthan three (3)monthsand twenty-nine(29)dayswillbeissuedtemporarypassestobedisplayed onthepassengersideofthedashboard.

d. Contractors may obtain vehicle stickers through the Registration department on an annual basis Contractors must abide by Hideout ConsolidatedRulesandRegulationsandEnvironmentalRules

11. Theoperationofmotorvehicles,includingmotorcyclesandwatercraft,withloudor defectivemufflers,orinamannertoproduceorresultinsoundlevelsdisturbingto others,isprohibited.

All Amenities Rules

1. AmenitiesarereservedfortheuseofMembersInGoodStandingandtheirGuests.The useofallHideoutAmenitiesisatyourownrisk.

2. Members will be held responsible for any damage to Hideout property caused by themselves,theirchildren,Guests,Tenants,andinvitees.

3. MembersandGuestsarerequiredtopossessanddisplayacurrentMembershipBadge, GuestBadge,SocialMembershipcardand/orAmenityPassasappropriateatalltimes when using the amenities. Children age seven (7) and up are required to possess Amenityidentification.

4. GuestsandTenantsmustpayfeesinadvanceasrequiredtouseanAmenity.

5. Ifanyindividualengagesindisruptiveand/orunsafebehavioratanAmenity,itwillbe atthediscretionofManagementand/orPublicSafetytoasktheindividualtoleave.

6. Verbaland/orphysicalharassmentofstaffand/orotherMembersisprohibited.

7. SmokingisNOTpermittedatHideoutamenities,exceptindesignatedareas.

8. Aircompressedand/orotherpressurizedpropellantscontainingconfettiand/orglitter areprohibitedatallHideoutindooramenities.(AmendedMarch18,2023)

Recreation Rules

Year-Round Activities

A. Tennis and Pickleball Rules

1. Courtsareavailableforplayduringpostedhours.

2. Only Members in good standing may make tennis/pickleball reservations. Members mayreservecourtsforGuests.

3. EachpropertyOwnerisentitledtoone(1)sessionofreservedplay,oneclinicandone privatelessoneachdayperLotowned.However,theRecreationDepartmentshalluse itsdiscretiontoeitherrestrictthisentitlementduringperiodsofheavydemandorto make additional session reservations available to property Owners when time is available.

4. ReservationsareavailablethroughtheRecreationOfficeonthedayofplayorone(1) day in advance. Courts may be reserved in person or by phone during normal Recreationofficehours.

5. Membersreservingcourtsforplayduringpeakplayinghoursarelimitedtousingtheir ownLotnumbersandonesessionrule.

6. Fifteenminuteslatearrivalwillresultinforfeitureofcourttime.

7. Failuretousereservedcourttimemayresultinlossofreservationprivileges.Failure to use reserved court time may also result in the full hourly rate being charged. However,therewillbenopenaltyforreservedcourtscancelledatleasttwo(2)hours priortoreservation.

8. AllpersonsusingcourtsarerequiredtohaveanddisplayAmenitybadges.

9. Spectatorsmuststayoutsidecourtareas.Amaximumoffour(4)personspercourtat anyonetimeispermitted.

10. Propertennis/pickleballattireisrequired. Streetshoes,black-soledshoes,sandals,or barefeetareprohibited.

11. No food or alcoholic beverages of any kind are allowed within court areas. Nonalcoholicbeveragesinappropriateunbreakablecontainersarepermitted.

12. Smokingisnotpermittedoncourtsatanytime.

13. Childrenundertheageof10musthaveadultsupervision.

14. Nopetsarepermittedinthecourtareas.

15. Loud or boisterous conduct, profanity, racquet throwing, or abuse of the RSC equipmentand/ortenniscourtsisprohibited.

16. TheRecreationManagershallbetheauthorityoncourtschedulesanddisputes.

17. Tennis/Pickleball courts are not to be used for any purpose other than tennis/pickleball,exceptwithpriorapprovaloftheRecreationManager.

18. Onlyoutdoorcourtswithlightingmaybeusedafterdark.PleasecontacttheRecreation Departmenttomakereservationsandpayment.

19. Allfeesmustbepaidpriortousingthefacility.

20. RSCDiscountTennis/PickleballPassmaybepurchasedattheRecreationDepartment office for use during the winter season. The RSC pass is not transferable from the purchaser to any other individual. The current term for the RSC Tennis Pass is from November1–April30.

21. The Tennis/Pickleball Pro will determine level of play for purposes of clinic participation.

22. Allclinicreservationscanbemadeone(1)dayinadvanceandmustbeprepaidprior tothestartofthelesson(cashoradvancedpaymentcard).

23. Memberswillbegivenpriorityforclinicreservation;Guestswillbeplacedonwaiting listsandwillbeabletoparticipateifspacebecomesavailablenosoonerthanone(1) hourbeforethescheduledstarttime.

24. Failuretoattend areserved clinicwillresultin thefullratebeingcharged. However, there will be no charge for reserved clinics cancelled at least two (2) hours prior to scheduledstarttime.

25. Outdoor private lessons are reserved through the Tennis/Pickleball Pros during the summer.

26. All outdoor lesson fees are payable to the Tennis/Pickleball Pro. In the case of rain, indoorcourtfeeswillapply.

27. Members will be given priority for lessons. Guests will be permitted to take lessons onlyifspaceisavailable.

28. Contract time is guaranteed playing time scheduled each week on the same day and time. It is available during the winter season beginning November 1 at the indoor courts. Arrangementsaremadebyfillingoutacourtcontractformbeforethedeadline attheRecreationoffice.(AmendedFebruary18,2006)

Tennis and Pickleball Contract Rules

• Contracts are available during regular weekday business hours of the Recreation Office. Evening hours are available on Tuesday and Thursday nights, special requests must be requested in advance to coordinate staffing and other planned activities.

• All contract requests must be submitted on the Request for RSC Contract Time Form. Multiple requests for the same day and time will be resolved by order of requeststhenbyarandomdraw.

• The“prime”contracttimeis9-11a.m.andwillbeequallydistributedtoallgroups, witheachgrouphavingatleastonedayinthistimeslotifpossible.

• Allcontractsmustbepaidinfullnolaterthanthefirstdayofplay.

• Players requiring a substitute are responsible for acquiring their own substitute. Anysubstitutesplayingforsomeone withan RSCpassthat doesnot havean RSC passthemselves,arerequiredtopayfortheirtimeofplay.RSCpassesareparticular toanindividualandtheirusagemaynotbetransferredtoothers.

• Contract dates will not be extended unless the RSC facility is closed due to an emergency,whichmayincludewintryweatherconditions.

• ThecontractseasonbeginstheweekofNovember1andwillcontinuethroughthe endofApril. Allcontractsareeightweeksinlength.

• Contract representatives must supply the Recreation office with Lot and phone numbersforeveryonelistedonthecontract.

• Torenewacurrentcontractyoumustsubmitanewcontractrequestformtwo(2) weekspriortotheendofyoureight-weekcontractperiod.

• ValidIDbadgesmustbepresentedtoRecreationstaffoneachdayofplay.

B. RSC Fitness Center Rules:

1. Individualsmustbeatleast14yearsofagetoentertheFitnessCenter.

2. StudentsAges14&15mustbeaccompaniedbyaparent/guardianwhileusingthe FitnessCenter.

3. Studentsages14-26qualifyforstudentrate.

4. All students must show proof of age such as school photo ID and copy of birth certificateordriver'slicensewithamenitybadge.

5. Anyoneunder18yearsofagemusthaveaparent/guardiansigncontracts.

Fitness Center Responsibility Code:

• Sign-upsheetsarelocatedonthewindowledgesfortheelliptical,treadmills, andstationarybikes.

• Thereisa 30-minute limitonallcardioequipment ifsomeoneiswaitingto usetheequipment.

Warm Weather Activities

A. Pools and Beaches Rules

1. Everypersonmustpossess,andpresentwhenrequested,properidentification(i.e., validmembershipbadge)beforeusinganyamenity

2. Pools are available to Members, Guests and Tenants for swimming only when a lifeguardisondutyandisatyourownrisk.

3. AllaccidentsmustbereportedimmediatelytotheAquaticStaffandThePublicSafety Department.

4. Allnon-swimmersandchildrenundertheageofthirteen(13)yearsofagemustbe accompaniedbyanadultswimmeratalltimeswhileinpoolwaterandatthebeach waterfront(s). (AmendedFebruary18,2006)

5. Infants must wear plastic pants or swim diapers. Children wearing only regular diapersarenotpermittedinthepoolsorlake.

6. Coast Guard approved flotation devices are permitted in the pools and designated beach area. Swimming aides for non-swimmers may be used providing each nonswimmer is accompanied by an adult swimmer in the water. All other swimming aids/devicesarenotallowed(exceptwadingpool)orintheshallowend.

7. Snorkels and masks are permitted but must first be approved by the Aquatic Coordinator.

8. Itisnotpermittedtoreservespaceonthebeachesorpoolareas.Personalproperty suchasblankets,chairs,umbrellasorcoolers,leftunattendedforaperiodoflonger than one hour will be removed from the beach or pool area by Public Safety or AquaticsstaffiftheOwnerofthepropertycannotbelocated.(AmendedApril8,2006)

9. TheHideoutisnotresponsibleforanyvaluablesorpersonalpropertyleftinthepool, beach,andbathhouse(dressing)area.

10. Non-powerwatercraftsareavailabletorent. Youmustbeeighteen(18)yearsofage withproperidentification.

11. Smoking is prohibited at all Hideout swimming areas except at posted designated locations.(AmendedOctober2,2010)

B. Pool Rules

1. Diving, back dives and/or flips, running, shoving, pushing and horseplay are prohibited.

2. The Wading Pool is only intended for non-swimmers 42” and under and accompanyingadults.

3. Congregatingatladderareaandlifeguardchairsisprohibited.

4. Adultswimsareforpeopleovereighteen(18)yearsofage.Timesofadultswimswill bedeterminedbythelifeguards.

5. No food, beverages, and/or smoking are permitted within the confines of the pool gateswiththeexceptionofwaterinsealedplasticcontainers.

C. Beach Rules

1. Ifalifeguardisnotondutyatadesignatedbeacharea,swimmingisatyourownrisk

2. Divingand/orflippingfromfloatingdockisNOTpermitted.

3. Allraftsnotequippedtobesafelyoccupiedbythree(3)ormoreoccupantsmuststay within one hundred (100) feet of the shoreline. Rafts are not permitted in the designatedswimareas.

4. GlasscontainersofanykindareNOTpermittedinthebeacharea.

D. Lake and Marina Rules

ItistheMember’sresponsibilitytostayawareofHideoutLakeandMarinaRules. Citations will be issued for violations. A mandatory fine of $500.00 will be issued for operating watercraft in a reckless manner. In addition, the Board of Directors reserves the right to suspendtheviolator’sLakeandMarinaprivileges.

1. All lake activities must comply with Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission regulations. Foradditionalinformation,pleasevisitthePennsylvaniaFishandBoat Commissionwebsiteatwww.fishandboat.com.

2. AllMembersarerequiredtoregistertheirwatercraft(boatsandpersonalwatercraft i.e., jet skis and wave runners) with The Hideout Recreation Office and pay the appropriatefee(s). See “Registration Requirements” section below.

3. ThemaximumlengthofwatercraftpermittedonHideoutlakesiseighteen(18)feet unlessregisteredbeforeJune1983.(AmendedSeptember23,2023)

4. Themaximumhorsepowerforgas-poweredboatsis90hp.

5. TodecreaseboththenoiseandoilpollutioninRoamingwoodLake,effectiveJanuary 1,2014,allnewgas-poweredboatsbeingregisteredforthefirsttimeinTheHideout mustbeequippedwithFOURSTROKEMOTORS. (AmendedSeptember28,2013)

6. Deerfield Lake and Brooks Lake are reserved for fishing and non-power boating. Electricaltrollingmotorsarepermitted.

7. Personal watercraft (i.e., jet skis and waverunners) are only permitted on Roamingwood Lake. They are not permitted on Deerfield Lake and Brooks Lake. Personal watercraft are subject to a maximum of 110hp, provided the personal watercrafthasafour-strokeengine. Maximumhorsepowerforatwo-strokeengine is85hp. (AmendedSeptember19,2006).

8. The use of electronic surfboards on all Hideout lakes is prohibited. Electronic surfboards shall be considered any board designed for gliding over the water achievinggreatspeedswithouttheneedofwaves. (AmendedJuly29,2023)

9. Waterskiinganduseofpersonalwatercraft(PWC)isprohibitedbefore8:00a.m.and aftersunsetandwhenvisibilitybecomespoor. (AmendedFebruary18,2006)

10. BoatsownedbyaMemberpreviouslyregisteredforRoamingwoodLakewhichare sold to another Member for use on Roamingwood Lake, will be considered “grandfathered” and will be exempt from the Four Stroke motor only restriction. (AmendedSeptember28,2013)

11. PlacingbuoysinanylakeisprohibitedexceptwhenauthorizedbyManagement.

12. Washingofwatercraftinthelaunchingareas,beachesandlakesisprohibited.

13. Motorizedvehiclesarenotpermittedonfrozenlakesatanytime.

OPERATION OF WATERCRAFT:

1. The following age restrictions and boating education requirements apply to the operationofpersonalwatercraft(PWC)andmotorboatsandareestablishedbythe PennsylvaniaFishandBoatCommission:

a. Persons11yearsofageoryoungermayNOToperatepersonalwatercraft (PWC).

b. Persons11yearsofageoryoungermayNOToperateapowerboatgreater than25hp.

c. Persons12to15yearsofagemayNOToperateawatercraftpropelledbya motor greater than 10hp without possessing a Boating Safety Education Certificate,acopyofwhichmustbeonfileattheRecreationOffice.

d. Persons12to15yearsofagemayNOToperateapersonalwatercraft(PWC) withanypassengersonboard15yearsofageoryounger.

e. Persons born on or after January 1, 1982, may NOT operate a watercraft greater than 25hp unless they possess a Boating Safety Education Certificate,acopyofwhichmustbeonfileattheRecreationOffice.

2. AllwatercraftmustbeequippedwithU.S.CoastGuardapprovedwearablepersonal flotationdevicesforeachpersononboard.

3. Allpersonsinawatercraftmustbeseatedwhileinoperation.

4. Allwatercraftmusttravelinacounter-clockwisedirection.

5. Allsailboatoperatorsmustmaintainaproperlookoutatalltimes.

6. All boating activity must cease on every lake during electrical storms or during conditionsthatmayresultinpersonalinjury.

100 FEET RULE:

1. Allpowerwatercraftmustobservetheonehundred(100)feetminimumswellspeed regulationswhenoperatingnearallregulatingbuoys.

2. Movingwatercraftshallnotovertakeorpassanothermovingwatercraftwithinthe onehundred(100)feetminimumswellrule.

3. Inflatablerubberrafts, withoutattachedmotors,aretoremainwithinonehundred (100)feetoftheshorelineiftheyareapprovedtocarryonlyamaximumoftwo(2) occupants. Rubber rafts approved for three (3) or more occupants may go beyond this limit and must be registered as a non-power boat with the Recreation Department.

4. Watercraft may not be anchored within one hundred (100) feet of any roped swimmingareaorparkarea.

REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS:

1. All Members/Owners are required to register their watercraft with The Hideout Recreation Office and pay the appropriate fee(s). Guests are not permitted to registeranytypeofpowerwatercraft.

2. AllnewboatsbeingregisteredinTheHideoutforthefirsttimemustpresentofficial documentation from the state in which the boat is registered that shows that the boat’slengthdoesnotexceedeighteen(18)feet. (AmendedSeptember23,2023)

3. The following documentation must be provided to the Recreation Office for registrationofallboatsandpersonalwatercraft:

a. ValidMemberBadge,

b. StateRegistration. (Alsorequiredforelectrically-propelledwatercraft).

c. CertificateofInsurance. Membersmustprovideacertificateofinsurance withtheappropriateliabilitycoverageindicating“AssociationofProperty

OwnersofTheHideout,Inc.,640TheHideout,LakeArielPA18436”asthe certificate holder. A certificate of insurance is not required for electrically-propelledwatercraft.

i. Ownersofwatercrafttwenty(20)hpormore,musthaveaminimum of $250,000 bodily injury liability insurance coverage and $50,000 property damage liability coverage to equal $300,000 coverage in total.

ii. Owners of watercraft nineteen (19) hp or less (not including electrically powered watercraft) must have at least $100,000 in liabilityinsurance.

d. BoatingSafetyEducationCertificate,and

e. Manufacturer’sspecifications.

4. Uponsuccessfulregistrationofaboatorpersonalwatercraft,theMemberwillreceive Hideout boat registration stickers which must be placed on their boat and/or watercraftasfollows:

INSPECTION:

1. AllboatsbeingregisteredinTheHideoutforthefirsttimemusthavetheirboatand motor inspected by the Recreation Office. Current state registration must be presentedattimeofinspection.

2. All watercraft must be made available for inspection at all times. Valid Member badge,BoatingSafetyEducationCertificate,currentstateregistrationandinsurance mustbeprovidedimmediatelyupontherequestofPublicSafetyand/orRecreation personnel.

DOCKS & MARINA

1. Docks are issued to boats only. Motorized and non-motorized rowboats may not occupyMarinadockslips.

2. Thereisawaitlistfordockspace. Memberswillbeassignedaspaceandwillretain the space each year as long as they remain in Good Standing and remit the annual rentalfeewiththeirregistrationandinsurancedocumentation.

3. Members who fail to remove their watercraft by the designated deadline shall be subject to a fine plus removal and all other costs incurred by The Hideout. This violationmayresultinsuspensionoffuturedockuse.

4. Lot numbers must be clearly displayed on all personal docks and bulkheads in a mannervisiblefromthelakeonwhichitissituated.

5. Main Lodge docking facilities are reserved for all watercraft. These facilities are intendedfortemporaryuseonlyandarerestrictedto30minutesperwatercraft.

WATER SKIING AND TUBING

1. Waterskiinganduseofpersonalwatercraft(PWC)isprohibitedbefore8:00a.m.and aftersunsetorwhenvisibilitybecomespoor. (AmendedFebruary18,2006)

2. Water skiers and tubers must wear U.S. Coast Guard approved personal flotation devices.

3. Waterskiingdirectlyaheadoforbehindanotherboatisprohibited.

4. Launchingandlandingofwaterskiersfromdocksortheshorelineisprohibited.

5. Whenwaterskiingortubing,theremustbeoneobserverfacing(spotting)thewater skierortuberatalltimes.

6. Double water skiing (including towing of two skiers/two tubes) is prohibited on Fridays,Saturdays,Sundays,andholidays.

FISHING

1. MembersshareHideoutlakesforvariousrecreationactivities. Itisessentialthatall who fish clean up their sites before they leave. Litter, including bait containers, fishingline,andplasticandpaperwrappersareunsightlyandareapotentialdanger towildlife.

2. EveryonefishingmustdisplayavalidMemberBadgeandtheirPennsylvaniaFishing License(requiredofallpersons16yearsofageandolder). Violatorsaresubjectto finesbythePennsylvaniaFishandBoatCommissionaswellasTheHideout.

3. Members are urged touse extreme caution while fishing from rowboats or canoes. CoastGuardApprovedPersonalflotationdevicesarerequiredforeachoccupanton alltypesofwatercraftsonallwatersinthestate. Anyboatsusingamotormustbe registeredwiththePAFishCommission. AllboatsusedonanywatersinTheHideout must be registered with the Recreation Department and must display the current year'sregistrationsticker.

4. Deerfield Lake and Brooks Lake are reserved for fishing and non-power boating. Electricaltrollingmotorsarepermitted.

5. IceFishingisonlypermittedatBrooksLakewithintheareadesignatedandwillbeat theMember’sownriskandexpense. Anglers16yearsoroldermustpossessacurrent state fishing license and must abideby all Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission regulations.(AmendedMay15,2021)

6. Per the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission, open fishery to harvest fish but Catch and Release is strongly recommended. Follow state guidelines with the followingexceptions:

Roamingwood Lake:

a. UseofAlewifeandGoldenShinersforbaitareprohibited.

b. Bass-Cutstatelimitsinhalf. Therefore:

• Jan1-Apr17andNov1-Dec31:15",2 (combinedspecies)

• Apr18-Jun12NOHARVEST

• Jun13-Oct31:12",3 (combinedspecies)

c. Walleye-NOHARVEST(year-round)

d. No harvesting of Walleye or Grass Carp. A fine of $125.00 per fish not immediatelyreturnedtothewaterwillbeimposedforfailuretocomply.

Deerfield Lake:

a. UseofAlewifeandGoldenShinersforbaitareprohibited.

b. NoharvestingofGrassCarp.Afineof$125.00perfishnotimmediately returnedtothewaterwillbeimposedforfailuretocomply.

Brooks Lake:

a. UseofAlewifeandGoldenShinersforbaitareprohibited.

b. NoharvestingofHybridStripedBass.

c. Afineof$125.00perfishnotimmediatelyreturnedtothewaterwillbe imposedforfailuretocomply. (AmendedJune5,2015)

E. Laurel Park Campground Rules

1. LaurelParkanditscampingfacilitiesareavailabletoMembersInGoodStandingand theirGuestsonly. Childrenundereighteen(18)yearsofagearenotpermittedtostay overnightwithoutadultsupervision. AuthorizedGuestsusingthecampingfacilities are governed by the same regulations that applies to Members. Members are responsiblefortheirGuestsandthesite. Allsitesmustbemaintained,keptcleanand organized. (AmendedMarch25,2017)

2. Sites are reserved for camping vehicles only. One passenger vehicle per RV is permitted on-site. See “Reservations” and “Registration and Insurance Requirements” below.

3. LaurelParkCampingFacilitycontainscampingsites, storagesites,and tentsites. A Member may secure more than one site at the same time only if they register a different camping vehicle (as described in rule #2) for each site. If the demand for sitesexceedsthenumberofsitesavailable,Memberswhohavemultiplesitesmaybe

required to give up their additional sites to allow those Members being denied a singlesitetheabilitytoobtainasinglesite.(AmendedMarch1,2008)

4. Mobile homes, office or construction trailers are not permitted at the Laurel Park CampingFacility. Thecampingvehiclesandtentslistedbelowarepermitted:

• Towedtypetraveltrailer–40footmaximum,

• Fifthwheeltrailer–40footmaximum,

• Motorhome–40footmaximum,

• Fold-out,pop-uphardtop,orslide-outCampers,

• Campervans,

• Pick-uptruckswithcaporcamperbody,

• Passengercar-topcamper,and

• Tents. Campersusingtentswillbesituatedintheareareservedfor tents. Tentsmaynotuseelectricaloutlets.

5. Projectsrequiringthebreakingofgroundsurfacearenotpermitted. Itemsmustbe removeduponnon-renewalofcampsite. Failuretoremoveitemswillresultina monetarychargetotheMemberforcostofclean-upand/orremoval. (Amended 2018)

6. Allcampersandtrailersshallbeparkedontheirdesignatedpadandmustbeparked perpendicular to the roadway Parking is not permitted on the blacktop roadway. Portablefendermountedmirrorsaretoberemovedoncethetrailerisunhitched.

7. Emergency–Emergency–Emergency Three(3)carhornblastssignifyanemergency andacallforhelp.

8. ThespeedlimitforallvehiclesinLaurelParkis5mph AllroadsareONEWAYand roaddirectionisclearlymarked.

9. Quiettimeisobservedbetween10p.m.and8a.m.Loud,boisterousnoise(including audioequipment)isprohibited.(AmendedFebruary18,2006)

10. Open fires are prohibited. Campfires are to be made in fire pits provided for that purpose. Firescannotbeleftunattended.Nohighcombustiblematerialsmaybeused to start or maintain the fire. Propane stoves and charcoal grills are not to be left unattended. All fires must be extinguished before retiring. (Amended March 25, 2017)

11. Trash and garbage must be deposited in the dumpsters near the Maintenance Building. Allrecyclingrulesmustbeobeyed.

12. Vehicle or portable holding tanks are to be emptied and flushed only at the Dump StationnexttotheConvenienceBuilding. AlltrailersorCamperswithsinksand/or toilets must have portable disposable units if using the campground. (Amended March25,2017)

13. TheConvenienceBuildingisoff-limitstochildrenundereight(8)unlessaccompanied byanadult. Loitering,smokingorplayingintheConvenienceBuildingisprohibited.

(Amended March 25, 2017) Extension cords may not be connected to the ConvenienceBuilding.

14. Petsmustbeincontrolandonaleashatalltimes. Ownersmustcleanupallpetwaste. Pets are not permitted in the Convenience Building (with the exception of service dogs).

15. Treesmaynotbecutorendangered. Ropesandcordsmustberemovedwhennotin use.

16. Tarps are not permitted to cover trailers from Memorial Day until Labor Day. Exceptionswillbemadeforemergencies.(AmendedMarch25,2017)

17. Carand/orvehiclewashingisprohibited.

RESERVATIONS:

1. Membersmustmakereservationsforcampsites(includingshort-term)throughthe Recreationdepartment. Campingvehiclesandtentsmustalsoberegistered.

a. Paymentisduewhenthereservationismade.

b. Before occupying a campsite, the camper will be required to sign a camping agreement.

c. Ashort-termcampingpacketmustbepickedupbythecamperattheRecreation OfficeintheRSCBuildingbetween8:00am-5:00pmorotherarrangementsmust bemade. Checkoutisbefore11:00am.

d. A $20.00 deposit will be required for the set of keys issued in the packet. The depositwillberefundedwhenkeysarereturnedtotheRecreationDepartmentat theRSC.

REGISTRATION AND INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS:

1. All recreation vehicles, tents, and storage units must be registered with the Recreation Office. Members may store campers, box trailers, flat trailers or car trailers,butnocommercialtrailers.

2. Toregisteryourtrailer/RVforanysiteyouwillneedtoprovidethefollowing:

a. AcompletedLaurelParkCampsiteRegistrationForm,

b. Signedcampingagreement,

c. Payment,

d. AcurrentcopyofyourTrailer/RVRegistration,and

e. Proof of Insurance - $300,000 for the RV or $300,000 personal liability for trailers.

4. An authorized registration decal must be affixed to the right front and right back bumperofalllong-termcampingvehicles.Tentregistrationdecalsshouldbefixedon a pole in the front of the tent. Theparking permit is tobedisplayed on the Guest’s vehicles.(AmendedMarch25,2017)

5. Insurance is mandatory for all campers and trailers in the campground with an amounttobedeterminedbytheBoard. SaidinsurancemustnameTheHideoutasan additionalinsuredandtheinsurermustagreetonotifyTheHideoutof cancellation ofsaidpolicy.(AmendedMarch23,2002)

INSPECTION:

1. Campsiteswillbesubjecttoinspection. Violationsmustbeaddressedwithin30days. After30daysacitationwillbeissued. (AmendedFebruary18,2006)

2. AllcampsiteswillbeinspectedbyacampgroundstaffMemberaspartofthecheckoutproceduretoensurethatthesitehasbeenproperlycleaned.

STORAGE:

1. Unitsinstorageshallbeforstorageonly. Nooccupancyispermittedatastoragesite. (AmendedFebruary18,2006)

2. Unitsinstorageshallbeondesignatedsites.(AmendedFebruary18,2006)

3. AnyunregisteredunitsinstoragewillberemovedandstoredattheOwner’sexpense. (AmendedFebruary18,2006)

4. Power boats, boat trailers, personal water craft (PWC) may not be stored at campsites. Storageisavailableintheboatstorageareaforboatsonlyforafee.

F. Cycling Safety:

1. Rideontherightsideoftheroadway,withtraffic.

2. ObeyYieldandStopsigns.

3. Ridesinglefile,neversidebyside.

4. Keep hands on the handlebars at all times. Riding "no hands" is dangerous and unlawful.

5. Whenever possible, give a hand signal to let other riders or drivers know that you intendtoturnorstop.

6. Nevercarryanotherpersononyourbikeunlessitisabicyclebuiltfortwo.

7. Neverhitchridesbyholdingontocarsorothervehicles.

8. BesuretolockbikesatalltimeswhenunattendedatHideoutfacilitiesorprograms. TheHideoutisnotresponsibleforlostproperty.

9. Safety helmets are currently required for bicyclists age 12 and under by law, in Pennsylvania. The Hideout strongly recommends that bicyclists age 13 and over wearahelmetwhilebicycling. (AmendedMarch18,2023)

10. Bicyclesaretobeequippedwithaheadlightandredrearreflectorfornightridingon theroadsorcommonareas.

G. Golf:

1. AllgolfersmustregisterandpaygreenfeesintheProShopbeforestartingtoplay.

a. No tank tops, halters, undershirts, see through shirts or short shorts are permitted.

b. Adult men (18 and older) must wear a collared shirt or mock turtle neck shirt.

c. Bluejeansarenotpermittedonthecourse.

d. Ladies’sleevelessshirtsmusthaveacollar.

e. Onlysoftspikesorsneakersarepermitted (AmendedJuly17,2010)

7. Allrulesofetiquetteshouldbeobserved:

a. Slowplayersletfasterplayersthrough

b. Takenolongerthanthreeminutestolookforlostgolfballs.

c. Beforeputtingonaparthree,standasideandallowthefollowinggroupto hittothegreenunlessplayersonthenextholearestillonthetee.

d. Replace all divots on the fairways, repair ball marks on the greens and fill divotsonteeboxes.

8. Keeppowercarts30feetfromgreens,tees,andwetareas.

9. U.S.G.A.rulesapplyexceptwherelocalrulessupersede.

10. League play must be approved by the Golf Pro Shop Manager and/or Community Manager.

11. TheHideoutClubChampionshipmatches,whenbeingplayed,havepriorityoverany regularplayorleagueplayandshouldbepermittedtoplayunimpeded.

12. Golf carts may be rented by those persons with a valid driver’s license or learners permit,accompaniedbyavalidlicenseddriver

13. Onlytwopersonsandtwogolfbagsarepermittedinagolfcart.

14. Children under the age of 13 must have written approval by the Golf Pro Shop Managerbeforeusingthegolfcourseandbeaccompaniedbyanadult.

Cold Weather Activities

A. Ski Area/Winter Sports Complex Rules:

1. The Winter Sports Complex is a family-oriented area. Appropriate language and behaviorareexpectedatalltimes. Childrenaged13andundermustbeaccompanied byaparentorguardianatalltimes.

2. Members and Guests must observe and obey all posted signs, warnings and Ski Area/WinterSportsComplexrules. Non-compliancemayresultinthelossofComplex privileges and/or disciplinary action. The Community Manager and Ski Hill Manager havestrictauthorityovertheSkiarea

3. PedestriantrafficisstrictlyprohibitedonalltrailsincludingtheBunnyHill,andinthe TubeRun/MagicCarpetarea.

4. Skiingandsnowboardingareonlypermittedondesignatedopentrailswithintrail boundariesduringSkiareaoperatinghours. Skiingandsnowboardingthrough woodedareasisstrictlyprohibited.

5. Prior to using a lift you must learn the procedures for loading and unloading. Lift attendantsareavailableforquestionsandassistance. Cuttingintoorpushingaheadon lift lines isprohibited and may result in the loss of Winter Sports Complex privileges. Swinging on chair lifts is prohibited. Skiers and snowboarders cannot impede the normalpassageofothersduringliftloadingorunloading.

6. Skiandsnowboardincontrolandavoidothers. Ifyouneedtostopduringarun,move tothesideofthetrail. Skiersandsnowboardersmaynotstopinalocationwherethey willobstructatrailorarenotvisiblefromabove. Skiersandsnowboardersmust alwaysusedevicestopreventrunawayequipment.

7. Peopleaheadofyouontheslopeshavetheright-of-way. Whenmergingwithanother trail, you must yield to other skiers and snowboarders. Skiers and snowboarders approachingeachotheronoppositetraversesarerequiredtopassontheright.

8. Snowboardsmusthavemetaledgesandmaynotbeusedassleds.

9. Onlyifitdoesnotcreateunsafeconditionsforyourself,othersandComplexequipment, jumping is permitted. Inverted aerials and jumping over snowmaking equipment are strictlyprohibited.

B. Ice Skating on Brooks Lake

IceSkatingispermittedonlyonBrooksLakewhenconditionspermitandonlywithin the designated area established by The Hideout. Ice skating is at the Member’s own riskandexpense. Obeypostedsignsandcommunications.
