COUGAR SPIRIT What it means to have Cougar Pride and Spirit

By: Madi Koenig

Being a Cougar means more than just being determined and being here at school. Being a cougar at Cherokee Trail High School means that, “[bringing] our intensity and participation at games when we do our chants or listen to the stereo or even music that everyone wants to listen to. It just brings out our Cougar spirit because no other school does it,” said sr. Sokku Mun Williams. Williams also says that, “[providing hype and spirit] brings out a new type of energy to our school. Me and my friends are the only ones who do it anymore. We try to bring back that hype we had when I was a freshman.“ CTHS is known for being loud, proud, and very driven to be the best we can be.
