Aggravated assault • On Aug. 15 at 8:54 p.m. in the 13900 block of Castle Boulevard, Silver Spring. The subjects are known to the victim. • On Aug. 16 at 8 p.m. in the 600 block of Silver Spring Avenue, Silver Spring. The subject is known to the victim.
Residential burglary • 800 block of 1st Avenue, Silver Spring, between 2:50 a.m. Aug. 12 and 2:50 a.m. Aug. 18. Forced entry, took nothing. • 700 block of McNeil Road, Silver Spring, between 2 a.m. Aug. 13 and 9 a.m. Aug. 15. Attempted forced entry, took nothing. • Unit block of Sheffield Manor Court, Fairland, between 9 a.m. and 8:50 p.m. Aug. 13. Robbery • On Aug. 14 at 12:35 p.m. in the 3900 block of Ballet Way, Burtonsville. The subject threatened the victim with a weapon and took property. • On Aug. 14 at 1 a.m. in the 3100 block of Fairland Road, Silver Spring. The subjects threatened the victim with a weapon and unsuccessfully attempted to take property. • On Aug. 14 at 7:50 p.m. in the 14100 block of Castle Boulevard, Silver Spring. The subject assaulted the victim and took property. • On Aug. 18 at 4:09 a.m. in the 13900 block of Castle Boulevard, Silver Spring. The subject threatened the victim with a weapon and took property. • On Aug. 20 at 9:38 p.m. in the 14100 block of Armilla Court, Burtonsville. The subject assaulted the victim and took property.
Sexual assault • On Aug. 17 at 6:30 p.m. in the 1100 block of East-West Highway, Silver Spring. Unsuccessful attempt.
Vehicle larceny

• Eight incidents in Silver Spring between Aug. 12 and 19. Forced entry into six vehicles, took computers, cellphones, MP3 players, a GPS unit and an auto stereo. Affected streets include Georgia Avenue, Castlehedge, Cameron Street and East-West Highway.
