welcome This season sees a wonderful selection of productions, some of which have been partly made by professional performers in our studios here at The Garage. From ThisEgg presenting Me and My Bee, where Josie and her pals ask you to bring your family to join the Bee Party, to 20 Questions presented by Unit who have co-created a show with some of our participants, and we might get a sneaky peek of dancers from Ipswich and Cambridge too! We also feature Foursquare Theatre’s production of Half a World Away which, as the title suggests, is a nostalgic trip back to the 90s in a rural community. This season features some cutting edge comedy with John Kearns, Tanyalee Davis and The M.M.O.R.P.G Show. If you are looking to take up a new hobby in the New Year we have more adult dance and fitness classes during the day and at lunchtime, including Burlexercise and Kettlercise, with more of our Ballet Basics classes as an introduction to dance. This is alongside all the fun of our existing dance, music and theatre classes. Our biggest development over recent years has been our Study at The Garage programme which includes extracurricular GCSEs which run on a Sunday. I’m really pleased to say this year as well as Dance GCSEs we have added Drama GCSEs to our offer; I think a truly great thing to be able to do is take a qualification in something you enjoy – and it’s not just for young people either….
