Growing up quite isolated I haven’t learned to interact with people so only photography has become the main dialogue with the others. But I believe I benefited in a way that I have a lot of time to see things around me, contemplate and appreciate the beauty in mundane. My photography is a diary of different memories and emotional states I’ve been through, almost all of them have some music related to them as well. The meaning of existence I found for myself is to collect memories as many as possible, to learn about art, discover films, books, music and artwork, because I think artists are some of the most important and influential people in the world. One can live without stuff, without comfort, even completely isolated but never without emotions that art can provide. I can’t skip mentioning that my gods and guides in life are Dostoevsky, Nabokov, Sartre Camus, Tarkovsky and Lars von Trier. The most inspiring photographer is Saul Leiter. My philosophy refers to existentialism and I think loneliness is a price you pay not to lose yourself. Film photography became my escapism from normality of life that somebody has designed for us to live.
