big Gay Sing - $5,000 NEW IN 2015, we’re joining forces with the Buffalo Gay Men’s Chorus to produce the most spectacular, gleeful sing-a-long Buffalo has ever seen! This multimedia event features local celebrities but STARS the audience, who’s encouraged to belt out timeless showtunes and pop favorties.
Chroma: art opening - $5,000 Pride’s annual art exhibition is curated by and comprised of LGBTQ artists from throughout Western New York. Celebrating the cultural depth of our region, this event is held in memoriam of Buffalo’s longtime LGBTQ and Buffalo Arts supporter, Mr. Jim Rolls.
flag raising ceremony - $2,500 Join City Officials and the Pride Center of Western New York as we kick-off Pride Week at Niagara Square in front of City Hall. This event receives high media coverage and participation from downtown workers.
pride village - $2,500 PART OF THE PRIDE FESTIVAL AT CANALSIDE - The Pride Village tent includes more than 200 vendors and nonprofit organizations that focus on LGBTQ issues. The tent is accessed by the 15,000+ attendees of the Pride Festival and serves as an important annual resource to LGBTQ individuals and their families.
