Meet Whitney B. Hampton, Managing Partner of Hampton Real Estate & Investments Development Group. Whitney is shattering barriers in communities stunted by poverty and lack of opportunities and has redefined the relationship between homeownership and generational wealth for millennials in and around Chicago. It is her mission to empower millennials to cultivate wealthy, sustainable communities through ownership, education, and mentorship.
In 2019 she launched Hampton Real Estate and Investments, a thriving operation specializing in the development of real estate owners and professionals. As a broker, she has closed on more than $15 million in sales, unlocking the doors to homeownership for families. Away from the closing table, Whitney uses her social media platform to train property owners and professionals on how to maximize opportunities for wealth Her weekly podcast, Wealth Building Wednesdays, has attracted more than 10,000 views.

In the spring of 2020, Whitney took her leadership skills to the streets. In response to the mass property destruction following riots sparked by social unrest, she organized Clean Out And Board Up 2020, which provided the necessary funding and labor needed to restore small business operations on Chicago’s South Side. Whitney is also the 2020 recipient of the We Will Young Woman of the Year Award. She is dedicated to transforming the narrative around wealth and ownership for Millennials everywhere.
She is a strong believer that anything she allows for a substantive amount of time is what she deserves. She has been put here to break up the status quo, and so whenever she sees inequity, disparaging behavior, or harmful tactics against our community, she fights against it. This reminds her to not to be a complainer, but a world changer, even if the world she is changing is only her own.
