PRETORIA HIGH SCHOOL FOR GIRLS WORSHIP “I can't possibly begin to EVENING describe last week’s worship evening at Pretoria On 21 February, as a High School for Girls worship team, we went without starting a while across to Girls High to back. For a long time, facilitate a worship worship at Girls High SCA evening that Caylin Nell was very 'heavy', insincere (head of SCA) organised. and (as bad as this may A lot of time went into sound) frustrating. It wasn't the event and we were the fact that the girls expectant of what God weren't singing that bugged would do. Here’s what me, it was the fact that the she had to say about it:

girls were chatting, messing around and suggesting that worship should be cancelled and we should just go straight into The Word. It was extremely discouraging but I knew God had a plan…” Continued on page 2

When the headmistress allowed SCA to have an evening workshop each term we just knew we needed to hold a worship evening. There were many challenges in the logistics of putting the night together but God made a way every time. When the night arrived we had about 150 girls from Girls High and Meisies Hoor worshiping God with their whole heart and soul. The girls danced and truly celebrated the love of God.

The volume of the girls’ singing that night was unbelievable. I stood in awe, body full of goose bumps for those two hours. The passion amongst the girls was incredible. When the music ended the girls wanted more and after worshipping some more all the girls literally danced and sang their way out of the school hall rejoicing. God has truly changed the heart of worship at my school and the worship evening was the night when God chose to change it.
