June 2014 This is a great time to work out those issues with authority and trust new boundaries and limitations. The planets are favorable for these type of interactions. And as soon as Mercury goes direct (July 1) there should be smoother communications and business dealings should be more flowing. Now is a good time to renegotiate or sign those deals that have been frustrating to seal. There is one aspect which lasts for this entire month. This is the inconjunction between Saturn in Scorpio and Uranus in Aries at 160 of their respective signs. This aspect creates tension between new, unfolding social patterns and established authority. This leads to strong conflicts between existing political power structures and populist social movements and trends. It augments revolutionary activities that seek to counter the establishment. We will thus continue to see violent eruptions in the current hot spots of the world: Syria, Africa, the Middle East; and unfortunately, elsewhere.

Poem of the Month By Daniel Krug I'm trespassing in the kingdom of fear what the hell am I doing here? How much longer untill I'll be shot by someone who mistakes me for a deer? Or by a hunter for 'Hunter Hunters' as they call creatures like me

I need to get out of town before the river floods but the only open path is an ascend into madness and since I don't like retracing my steps perhaps that's where I'll go if I survive the journey

Daniel Krug is a native German, who passed through Woody Creek the first weekend in June 2014 for the first time. He was inspired to write this poem during his stay.

A sheriff walks into a saloon, and shouts for everyone’s attention. “Has anyone seen Brown Paper Jake?”, he asks. “What’s he look like?”, asks one shoddy looking cowboy. “Well”, replies the Sheriff. “He wears a brown paper hat, a brown paper waistcoat, a brown paper shirt, brown paper boots, brown paper pants, and a brown paper jacket.” “So what’s he wanted for?”, asks the same cowboy. “Rustlin’…”, replies the Sheriff.
