The D w ig h t varsity basketball team played o n e o f its most successful seasons in 1972-1973. The team ex足 h ib ite d a p o te n t o ffe n c e as th e y m o re than o n ce scored o v e r 100 points in a game. This was M r. Cadra's fifth season as head coach at D w ig h t w ith a c o m p o s ite records o f 68 to 31. O n e o f th e h ig h lig h ts o f th e season was Joe R u d o lf b e c o m in g th e o n ly p la y e r in D w ig h t h is to ry to score 1,000 career points. Senior Stephen Sealy c o m p lete s his fo u rth varsity season. Juniors W ayne G o n 足 zalez and Jess A n th o n y , b o th playing th e ir second season, d id great re b o u n d in g jobs. Junior, Bruce W a r足 shaw, fin is h in g his th ird year on th e team , had a great a ll-a ro u n d season.
