Key Club 101
Hello Samurai! With the year coming to an end, I would like to MESSAGE congratulate you all for your service and making this year very successful! But just because school is over, doesn’t mean the key club year is! There’s plenty of service opportunities open for you to help out with! As fellow Key Clubbers,I encourage you all to help others even when its not counted for, you never know when you can impact someone’s day! Since it’s a fresh start for the Key Club year, with new members joining and whatnot, try bringing people to events so that they can get a feel of what Key Club is. An event that is coming up soon is the June DCM! Come to Washington Park in Anacortes from 12-4pm! This is an event you don’t want to miss! Hope to see you all there! Keep serving on Division 20i! In care and service, Ria Bains
MEET YOUR DIVISIONAL OFFICERS‌ TJ CORTEZ
Hello fellow Keyclubbers! My name is Joseph Cortez, but I like to go by TJ, and it is an honor to be the divisional treasurer for division 20i. I'm a junior at Oak Harbor High school and I've been apart of Keyclub for all my years here, but only started to find my deep love for Keyclub this year! I generally try to make people happy because it's a nice feeling putting a smile on someones face! I'm not really athletic, so that's why I play golf! I look forward to working as your treasurer and can’t wait for the key club year!
Hello loves! My name is Ellysa Bonganay and I am honored to be the divisional secretary of 20i. I am currently a junior at Oak Harbor High School and this has been my first year in Key Club. My life consists of eating, sleeping, and Netflix. Occasionally, I like to pet my dog, go on long car rides, and make lists of stuff I want but can't afford. Any who, I am really looking forward to spending my senior year with you Key Clubbers!
JULIA SMITH Exec. Assistant
Hi, friends! I'm Julia Smith and I'm the Lieutenant Governor Executive Assistant of division 20i! I'm currently a sophomore at OHHS and this is my 2nd year in Key Club. My hobbies include animal crossing, short walks to the fridge, and twitter stalking key clubbers. I'm very excited to see what next year has in store for us Key Clubbers!
AYEEE what's up guys, my name is Jhon Dimaulangan, and I am the Divisional Editor for D20i! I'm a sophomore at Oak Harbor High School and I have been a member of Key Club for two years. I love surfing the internet, social media, winning tennis matches against Ria, and of course... KEEEEY CLUUUB. I'm looking forward to being the Divisional Editor for you beautiful people, and if you're not I can edit that (jk you're beautiful).
MEET YOUR DISTRICT APPOINTED OFFICERS…
Stumbling into that first key club meeting as a confused sophomore was undoubtedly one of the best decisions I've ever made - one that has led to a myriad of amazing encounters, countless hours of devoted service, and an innumerable amount of life-shaping experiences. I'm so excited to be able to give back to this club which has provided me with so much! On the off chance that I'm not busy pouring my heart into Key Club, I'm probably enjoying science, friends, or cookie crisp. I truly can't wait for what will surely be the best year ever!
Hello PNW! I’m Ryan Miura and I’m one of your Convention Aides this year who will help plan the 66th annual District Convention. Key Club has had a huge impact on who I am, and I hope I can continue to grow and learn from my experiences as a part of the K-Family. I love trees, cats, and meeting my fellow PNW Key Clubbers so holla at me if you happen to see me and want to talk! I’m pumped to represent the most loving and spirited division around, Division 66, so let’s work together to have a great year of service!
Hey! I'm Jag and I'm your convention aide! I'm really ecstatic to be on the board and ready to put on the best DCON ever! I'm a runner and I love listening to music! Most of my free time is spent on going to all of my home key club's service projects..because, well...Key Club is life! My favorite color is aquamarine and I'm super random and charismatic with most anything! I look forward to becoming best friends with all of you Key Clubbers! Agapé!
How's it going, Key Clubbers? My name is Athena Sok (but you may also call me Tina) and I have been blessed with the opportunity to be appointed as your K-Family Relations and International Projects Director! I reside in the city of Tacoma and I am a shark of Division 34. I bleed black and gold because I am an incoming senior at Lincoln High School. I am extremely excited to work with the district board this year and to meet all of you! As your K-Fam/Int. Projects Director, I plan to significantly improve the relationships and communication between Key Club members and the K-Family branches. My plans include district wide events that allow K-Family members to join together and share our love for service. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me!
Hey Key Clubbers, we have a single year left. In 2015 The Kiwanis family will turn 100 and The Eliminate Project will come to a close. Maternal /Neonatal tetanus is not waiting for us to act. We must fight quickly and together. Now that I sound like a dictator, I want to make sure you know me! I am Ben Scranage, your 2014-2015 District Projects Director. I want to work with each and every one of your clubs to make sure that the Pacific Northwest reaches their goal of fifty thousand dollars this Key Club Year! I promise you that even though I live in the small town of Harrisburg, Oregon, just outside of Eugene, I will be there for any of your questions at any time of the day. My phone number is (541) 220-0066, and my email is email@example.com m. Reach out and don't feel like a stranger.
'm really interested in programming and making things/engineering which I'd like to use to make a positive impact in the world and on the lives of others. I really love being part of an organization that is making such a huge difference in the world with the help of so many other people.

This being the first DCM in a while, I can honestly say that the turn out was great! We were able to raise $20.02 for Project Eliminate, which was also enough money for me to take one pie to the face. Because of the distance issue with Division 20i, DCM attendance can sometimes be hard, but seeing people from other clubs come and join for mingling, working together while playing games, and just all around having a good time was really fun! I hope for those who went had a great time and go to the next DCM, make sure to invite more key clubbers 7 to the June DCM!

The warrior of the month for June is awarded to Julia Smith! Julia is kind, hard working, and also my best friend. Because of her dedication to Key Club, she was given the opportunity to become the Lieutenant Governor Executive Assistant, and will be working along side with me and the rest of the divisional team to strengthen our division. The amount of support I receive from Julia not only pushes me forward, but motivates me to be better at anything I’m doing. I know you’ll be a great assistant and that our division is in good hands.
