theConspiracy develops ESPN’s X Games Global Toolkit The Extreme Games (X Games) has revolutionized the world of action sports. ESPN has established itself as the “Olympics of Action Sports” by hosting 65 X Games competitions in 14 countries worldwide. theConspiracy was hired by ESPN’s Creative Director Christopher McClure to develop an X Games Global Toolkit inspired by the overall design direction of their marketing campaign. The toolkit is a standalone set of designs and assets that acts as a global direction for production initiatives with current and future X Games licensees. The toolkit’s foundation is the key action sports that are the global events.


theConspiracy took the concept of kaleidoscope and the energy behind the imagery to create a dynamic and rich visual experience versatile enough to be used on numerous products.We constructed and disrupted Photos & Logos, manipulating them into layered combinations, vectored patterns and textures. We created a diverse portfolio of work that would appeal to a global audience and resonate with fans and consumers of the lifestyle. We accomplished this with strict organization of elements for the different combinations of X Games sports and worked through an aggressive schedule.We are just now starting to see the results in products produced using our work.

Pavan “Like To Ride” Sweepstakes tied to Art Basel allowed people who “liked” Pavan on Facebook to hitch a ride on a mobile gallery with free tastings and art with appropriate South of France imagery.

Named after the 16th century dance of the peacock, Pavan celebrates the South of France. theConspiracy works with the Suntory brand Pavan to design and develop their digital strategy and web presence focusing on the lifestyle around the brand. Projects included Web Design & Development, Facebook Page design integration and a sweepstakes app platform.


theConspiracy builds a House of Gold & Bones Roadrunner Records and Stone Sour work with theConspiracy to develop the imagery and design for a 2 part CD release based on a short story by singer Corey Taylor. In this day and age of the dwindling physical music package, it was amazing to be able to create conceptual package designs that when combined, create a 3 dimensional house, complete with a roof and windows. We even created picture disc vinyl. We love vinyl!

theConspiracy developing brand identity for composers new music label Sparks & Shadows Composer Bear McCreary announces the launch of Sparks & Shadows, a new boutique record label that will release soundtracks primarily composed by the Emmy-nominated composer. McCreary, listed by Io9 as one of the ten most influential science fiction composers in history, was recently named a “Secret Weapon” by WIRED Magazine. Bear McCreary’s unique combination of atypical instrumental background (he is a professional accordionist) with rigorous classical training prepared him to compose for disparate genres. By the age of 24, McCreary was launched into pop culture history with his groundbreaking score to SyFy’s hit series Battlestar Galactica, for which he composed “the most innovative music on TV today” (Variety). It “fits the action so perfectly, it’s almost devastating: a sci-fi score like no other” (NPR). Io9.com declared Bear McCreary one of the Ten Best Science Fiction Composers of all time, listing him alongside legends John Williams, Jerry Goldsmith and Bernard Herrmann.
