A word from your STC My name is Lisa Pan. I am a Junior at John F. Kennedy High School. Also I’m a cheerleader. I’ve been cheering for 5 years now. I find myself to be funny and socially awkward at times. I’m a very open minded person. I’m willing to try new things. I wasn’t really into Key Club until my sophomore year. I really love the memories and friends I make at Key Club events. Key Clubbers makes me so happy when I’m drained from school or personal things going on in my life. I appreciate all of the people I’ve met. Moving on, I recently got appointed as the Spirit Task Coordinator for D07N. I am super thankful I got this position. My goal is I hope everyone feels the energy and positivity that I’m going to be giving so they’re motivated to do spirit chants with me.

Articles & Visuals Paper can be folded into many different shapes such as cranes, samurai hats, and even boats. These shapes bring smiles to people folding them. This opportunity allows Key Club along with Origami Club members to spread the fun of this wonderful activity. Members learn to fold origami beforehand and teach them to the seniors at St. Francis Living Facility. The feeling of achievement when the piece of paper finally takes shape is enjoyable! -Shicai Huang, John F. Kennedy, Division 7 North

Articles & Visuals Club rush was held on April 6th, located at Hiram Johnson. Club rush was a success for us. There was a group of girls in spirit gear that helped us, and walked around with our spirit stick. We gave out lollipops, and did “how do we feel,” chant. We presented our key club shirts, and had a poster board done. The poster board included major events in key club such as, “DCON, FRN, and DCM” along with service events that we had attended in the past. -Fancy Thao, Hiram Johnson, Division 7 North
