Welcome to the Broadway! We're looking forward to a fabulous new season of shows and events at the Broadway. Coming up in the next few months we'll have something for everyone: music, comedy, dance and drama; for families, for friends, for folk of all ages. With so much on it's difficult to pick out highlights but do watch out in this brochure for the all-new Broadway Cinema (see page 15)! Of course, we're mostly about live entertainment and you'll find plenty of that in the Broadway Foyer (page 14) performance space where you can also chill and chat! There's also an offer of some special pampering from our friends at the Barking Bathhouse (page 13). In the theatre, the season gets underway like ‘greased lightening’ with Sing-a-Long-a Grease, a classic movie for which audience participation is compulsory! There’s also children’s favourites Bananas in Pyjamas, classical Russian ballet The Nutcracker, big band music from The Syd Lawrence Orchestra, Shakespeare’s gripping Othello, an evening with Patricia Routledge, hilarious anecdotes from West Ham Legends Tony Cottee and Tony Gale, perennial party show Motown’s Greatest Hits and of course rounding off the year with our fabulous panto, Jack and the Beanstalk. There’s lots more happening at the Broadway this Autumn so make sure you check out www.thebroadwaybarking.com and book your ticket to fantastic entertainment now!

Sing-a-Long-a Grease Have you ever felt like singing along to your favourite musical in the cinema or theatre? Well, now's your chance as Sing-a-Long-a Grease comes to the Broadway. The famous 1977 movie starring John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John is a fantastic nostalgia-fest of a film, packed with hit songs that dominated the charts around the world. You can join in with Danny and Sandy and nobody will tell you to 'shush'. In fact, everyone else will be joining in too in one great big Grease-themed party! The evening begins with your host leading a vocal warm-up before they show you how to use your free fun pack. You'll even get a chance to learn how to hand jive. Then just sit back and watch Danny and Sandy and the gang, while singing and dancing along to the lyrics as shown on the screen. It couldn’t be easier... or more fun! Fancy dress is strongly encouraged (but not compulsory) and full audience participation essential! Date Tickets
