April 20 - 8-Ball Women s C & below

will go ahead and charge a green fee and see how players respond to that. Danny ran into Tim Tweedell the next match and lost 13-9, and on the B-side took care of Eddie Carrido 13-8, Mike Vidas 13-10, and another KO over Kris Iverson, 11-4. Meanwhile, Tim s journey to the winner s circle began with a KO s over Joe Bonilla 9-2, and Margie Ito 9-2, and then victories over JD 13-8, and Dan Louie 13-9. This brought him to play for the point with Kris Iverson. Kris had been playing strongly all weekend, but faltered against the Red Raider, getting KO ed 11-4. In the Finals, Tim and Dan traded games, with no one gaining the upper hand, but when the chalk dust had finally settled, Tim emerged the victor and goes into the record books as the first winner of a UPPA event. Thanks to the 2 courageous ladies who played, Margie Ito and Deby Welfringer, and to all those who braved the snow. Our next 10-Ball event will be April 27-28 at the Cue Lounge. They have 12 tables, and we will be limiting the field to the first 64 paid players. Sign up early and don t miss the excitement! Payouts went all the way down to half the field and were: 1 2nd 3rd 4th 5/6 st
