A Rural Treat

he Langton Greenhouse and Garden Centre is a long established, family run business that boasts a wonderful array of delights for visitors - comprising a large, family café, an extensive food and gift centre, a well-stocked garden centre, a dog grooming parlour, a family butcher and the Langton Stone Company, with its beautiful range of stone and porcelain tiles. "Opening the Greenhouse Café in 2013, enabled us to create a unique space with a fantastic family feel. Full of character, with a great atmosphere, the large, bright, open, dog friendly café is now highly regarded as a destination in which to dine and relax – both inside and out. " explains Louis Marshall, Director of Operations at the Langton Greenhouse and Garden Centre. With a focus on families, there is a

dedicated kid’s play area, a toy shop and a great family menu on offer, plus a fully licensed bar serving a selection of wines, beers and spirits. Comfortably accommodating family groups, the spacious café has ample access for pushchairs and buggies.

Looking ahead to Christmas, the café remains open throughout the autumn and Christmas season, closing only on Christmas Day and Boxing Day. Open on New Year’s Day with a one-off all day brunch menu; it is perfect for a bit of rest and recuperation.

The garden centre maintains a comprehensive range of seasonal plants for your home and garden, offering a dedicated basket and pot planting service on site. Plus the onsight friendly, experienced horticulturalists can provide sound advice and assistance for all your gardening needs, from design to planting and plant care.

The dedicated Christmas store will carry a huge selection of gifts and decorations for the festive period including freshly cut, locally grown Christmas trees – and you can expect a visit from Santa Claus ahead of the big day too, so keep an eye on their website for details.

In addition they stock a range of water features, patio furniture, bird care products and decorative garden pots to suit all tastes, together with a range of items to add beauty and character to any outdoor space.
