YANDERS LAW VIEWBOOK 2017
Yanders Law is a non-profit organization that was established in 2010 to use the sport of basketball as a tool to assist young men and women in their athletic, educational, professional, and life skill development. We exist to provide young men and women with a community of brotherhood and sisterhood for life; and to promote good citizenship, discipline, teamwork, and physical health. We believe that basketball embodies the best of all sports: teamwork, discipline, pride, competition, self-confidence, and personal accountability. Yanders Law is growing in more than just basketball. Our elder teams reach out to our younger teams in a big player / little player aspect to encourage them to be good role models, and to give back to the next generation. Our older teams also volunteer their time at our Basketball Movement open clinics, and assist our coaches at basketball skill development and speed and agility workouts. All teams turn their grade cards in to the coaching staff on a semesterly basis and we have plans to begin ACT prep and NCAA clearinghouse courses for our sophomores and juniors.
Yanders Law has worked with me for the last five years and I think it has prepared me for anything and everything infront of me.
Rob genuinely cares about every single player that walks through the door. He’s going to make each player the best that they can be.

Yanders Law currently has sixteen basketball teams, for both boys and girls, with six qualified volunteer coaches. Of the sixteen teams, Yanders Law has six travelling boys teams, ages 12U - 17U and three travelling girls teams, ages 14U - 17U. Our players are from Missouri, Illinois, and Arkansas. Yanders Law players are dedicated to our mission and spend countless hours in the gym during the week for skill development and speed and agility workouts, GUN training, and team practices. Our teams will compete in tournaments throughout the country.

ROB YANDERS Founder, Head Coach
Yanders’ basketball career began in Milwaukee at Vincent High School, where Yanders helped lead the Vikings to three back-to-back State Basketball Championships in 1996, 1997, and 1998. Yanders went on to play at MSU West Plains and is their only two time All-American. Yanders was honored as a member of the 1999 USA National Team that toured New Zealand and was inducted into the MSU - WP Hall of Fame in 2007. Yanders went on to become a bear at Missouri State University under coach Barry Hinson and started every game he played from 2000 - 2002. Yanders was a part of the 2009 Great Britain national team that earned the 2012 Olympic bid. After his first seasons playing abroad, Yanders was invited to the NBA Milwaukee Bucks free-agent camp. In his time in the UK, Yanders won practically every individual and team honour available in the domestic game. Yanders won two Championships, a regular season Championship, a National Cup, and Finals MVP. In France, Yanders was also voted team MVP with both VCB and KABCA teams and earned All-Star Team honors in 2012.

Yanders Law is privileged to have full access to the facilities of The Basketball Movement. Included in these facilities are two full basketball courts, four basketball shooting gun machines, endurance and strength training equipment, defensive training dummies, a vertimax, and more.
Our facilities are the best in the Midwest and help our athletes excel in their growth to become better basketball players and student athletes.
Wise players are always trying to improve their game. All Yanders Law athletes have access to a state-of-the-art film room. The film room features leather theatre seating, touch-enabled playback, and three separate angles of gameplay to ensure nothing is missed. Game film is important, and we strive to help players see where they can improve.
Serious players need serious gear. Included in the facilities available to all Yanders Law players and parents is a fully equipped athletic-wear outlet. The store features major brands like Adidas, The North Face, and several select shoes from noteworthy professional players. In their time off, we encourage students to check out the store and purchase some gear that will help them to excel on the court with style.
