Sanitary Building Design Key Considerations • If you can’t see it, you can’t clean it—applies to facility and equipment • Integrate sanitation equipment into the facility design • Design site with pest defense in mind • Design proper environmental building finishes • Design sanitation egress around equipment • Design sanitary utility runs throughout processing and packaging areas • Design appropriate level of site and plant security • Control hygienic zones • Control personnel, product and material flow • Control water accumulation in facility design • Control room temperature and humidity • Control room airflow and pressure

Formal QA/QC Program Austin has established and implements a formal Quality Assurance/Quality Control Program on every project to provide a high level of oversight and control. Our on-site field staff verifies that project drawings and specification requirements are met, and QC Managers oversee the program, which is custom-tailored to each project to meet pre-determined goals and objectives.
