THE INSPIRATION FOR SUSAN HILL’S THE WOMAN IN BLACK!
“I don’t save or shield them. It’s as bad as I feared – they’re lost.” 1840. A young governess agrees to look after two orphaned children in Bly, a seemingly idyllic country house. But shortly after her arrival, she realises that they are not alone. There are others – the ghosts of Bly’s troubled past. The Governess will risk everything to keep the children safe, even if it means giving herself up to The Others. Years later, confronted by the past she is compelled to account for what actually happened to her and the innocents under her protection. This dynamic, thrilling adaptation of Henry James’ much-loved and genre defining classic ghost story Turn of the Screw lets you draw your own conclusions about the events at Bly and where guilt resides. THIS MUSICAL IS THE ONE THAT YOU WANT!
It’s 1959 and Rydell High School’s senior class is in Rare form. The 1950s high school dream is about to explode in this rollicking amateur production from the team that brought Annie, Fame and Peter Pan to Windsor. At the heart of the story is the romance between hot-rodding gangster Danny Zuko and the sweet new girl in town, Sandy Dumbrowski. They had a secret romance in summer, but now back in the context of school, peer-pressure and cliques, their love becomes a bit more complicated. Can Danny maintain his cool dude status and still make demure Sandy his girl? Featuring the classic hits including, ‘Greased Lightnin’ and ‘We Go Together’, Grease recalls the music of Buddy Holly, Little Richard and Elvis Presley that became the soundtrack of a generation.
