Brendan Grace It’s a funny old world when seen through the eyes of Brendan Grace. The sanctimonious priest who knows more than he’s telling, the father of the bride making a speech at his daughter’s wedding, and then there’s the schoolboy with the unspeakable personal habits and a fine line in sympathy pleas. Brendan Grace is all of these and more. Brendan’s material owes more to the best of the traditional stand-up-comics than it does to modern alternative humour and his show is very much a show for all the family.
Frances Black & Kieran Goss: The Reunion It’s been over 20 years since Frances Black and Kieran Goss last toured together. In the intervening years both artists have enjoyed huge international success in their respective solo careers, but it was the inspired pairing of these unique talents as a duo in the early ’90s that first caught the imagination of the Irish public. Now for the first time in Waterford they reunite for this special show.

The Man of La Mancha Man of La Mancha is a 1964 musical with a book by Dale Wasserman, lyrics by Joe Darion, and music by Mitch Leigh. It is adapted from Wasserman’s non-musical 1959 teleplay I, Don Quixote, which was in turn inspired by Miguel de Cervantes and his seventeenth-century masterpiece Don Quixote. Set in the context of the Spanish Inquisition, Man of La Mancha is presented as a play-within-a-play. We encounter historical author Miguel de Cervantes in prison, awaiting trial by the Inquisition. When his fellow prisoners try to take Cervantes’ belongings from him, including his manuscript, Cervantes proposes a trial in which he proves the merit of the manuscript through a re-enactment, enlisting his fellow prisoners as characters in his play.
