The Coventry Carolers ABOUT THE ARTISTS: The Coventry Carolers perform vocal and instrumental Tudor England Renaissance music and a seasonal Victorian Christmas program in realistic period costumes. The members have over 150 years combined choral experience in the U.S.A. and abroad. Through incorporation of interesting, often humorous facts and short stories, the audience is educated while being entertained. ASSEMBLY PERFORMANCES: The Coventry Carolers are committed to “Education through Entertainment”! The program provides a fun and informative introduction to Tudor England’s Renaissance period or a Victorian Christmas program using music, spoken words and realistic period costumes. Audience participation is encouraged throughout the program and includes an interactive sing-a-long. A question and answer period is incorporated at the end of the performance. Representing multiple disciplines through foreign language lyrics, facts and short stories, authentic period garb, and historical and literary figures, this delightful presentation enlightens and inspires students. Teacher packets of information sent prior to performance. Grade Level/Maximums:
