Frontier Day carnival to return with new rides in 2019 From rides that make you scream to winning a stuffed animal, there is just something special about going to the carnival. Every year, the Alvin Rotary Club brings the carnival to the city and makes it a part of Frontier Day. Because it is so much fun to enjoy the rides and some delicious cotton candy or a hot dog, it has become a highly-anticipated event. For a single charge per person, enjoy all you can ride for half a day. After the parade on Saturday, the carnival will become a part of the festivities. It will be set up on the parking lot across from Stanton’s Shopping Center for your enjoyment. Don’t miss the carnival as Alvin and the Rotary Club celebrate Frontier Day.
