OUR STORY Unbeknownst to me, for the last 2.5 years, Jeremy has been folding 1,000 origami cranes for me. He only worked on it while I was at school or work. As the legend goes, if you fold 1,000 cranes your wish will come true. His wish was to be with me! On my 27th birthday, we had plans to go to dinner with my family and then have friends come over for a little party. While we were at dinner he had arranged for my best friend (Three cheers for Amanda!) to go to our place and arrange the cranes. When we got home I was shocked! Cranes of varying sizes and colors were scattered all over the floor, couch, tables and chairs. It was like magical 3D confetti everywhere! They were arranged on the table with the ring in the center. It took me a moment to see the ring with all of the cranes everywhere! Then he walked me over to the table and said some wonderful things to me and asked me to marry him. Yay!
