have been with The AIM Companies™ since its beginning, starting as co-founders in 1982, and continuing as top earners through the AIM Compensation Plan. The past thirty years have been a remarkable ride for the Klings with their AIM business, and their success is evident as they are being inducted into the Seven Million Dollar Club, having earned seven million dollars in commissions from AIM. Throughout their thirty years with AIM, the Klings have witnessed many thousands whose lives have been improved through better health with the AIM products. Their personal health and wealth story would not be complete without the testimonies of those they have reached with AIM’s living well message. Here are two of Carolyn and Jim’s favorite AIM stories excerpted from Carolyn’s book Turning Green into Gold: *** Years ago, we had a champion yodeler from Idaho, Buzz Goertson, give a concert at our church. As he was singing, I could see he was struggling with his voice. He had a terrible cold and could not reach the high notes. After the concert, I remember going out in the freezing cold to his vehicle and talking to him about AIM’s barley juice. I gave him a jar and told him it would help him over his cold. Time passed, and I never followed up with him. 4 theaimcompanies.com I 1-800-456-2462

Years later, imagine my surprise as Buzz was called up on stage at an AIM convention to be honored for his promotion to Star Sapphire Director. I had to know the rest of his story, so after the program, I asked him to fill in the details. After I had given him that first jar, he took the barley juice a few days and then stopped and put it in his cupboard. A short time later, on a trip to Hawaii, someone else had given him another jar of AIM’s barley juice to try. He promptly took that one home and set it in the cupboard beside the first jar. One day while Buzz was out of town, his wife Wilma was really suffering with her health. A friend came over, noticed the barley juice in the cupboard, and convinced Wilma to try it. Buzz came home from his trip, and right off, he could see that Wilma was different. Not only had her health improved, but she also seemed to have a happier state of mind. However, he was not about to try it himself. Wilma was not daunted, and when they needed more products, she challenged Buzz, “Why don’t we buy six jars? You take three, and I’ll take three. Then, if you don’t notice any difference, I’ll never bring it up again.” Buzz thought, “Here’s a great way to get rid of this,” and took up the challenge. Within

After noticing benefits with his health, he saw a great opportunity to help others as he traveled. Helping people is Teresa

It was World War II. When allied planes began dropping bombs on her hometown of Naples, Italy, fourteenyear-old Teresa grabbed the hand of one of her female colleagues and instinctively headed for the downstairs bathroom in the building where they were both working. The girls huddled together as the explosions continued all around them. Everyone else in the building died during the raid. Somehow Teresa and the girl survived. For three days they remained buried in rubble; their only nourishment was water from the toilet tank. Eventually, rescuers dug them out from what was left of the bombed-out structure. Seventy-two years later, Teresa recalled their miraculous survival as though God had a special purpose for her. “I don’t know what made me take the hand of that girl,” she said with a characteristic modesty that is often a trait of those with a powerful desire to help others. As an AIM Chairman’s Club Director, a nutritional consultant, and, perhaps most notably, as the formulator of AIM Herbal Fiberblend®, Teresa Schumacher has succeeded in carving out a lifelong path that allows her to reach out and help people along the way. The path took her from Italy to the United States after she married an American soldier. The year was 1945, and in the land of opportunity, Teresa embarked on a number of successful careers that included selling brushes, insurance, ladies’ undergarments, and health products. It was after Teresa had her first child that she began to have severe colon problems. “It was the change from a healthy Mediterranean diet to an American diet that caused it,” she explained. Even after a few corrective surgeries, Teresa still had severe constipation as her diet had not changed. Her health continued to get worse. “There was a year when I could not even walk. It was so bad that I reached a point where I didn’t care whether I lived or died.” Not knowing what else to do, her sister-in-law recommended that she go to see a French couple that provided therapeutic massage. “They were hippies, and we became friends,” said Teresa. “They recommended changing my diet to include fiber from cereal, which I did until I developed Herbal Fiberblend.” Teresa began studying herbs and proper nutrition. Teresa’s strong work ethic, which she got from her own mother, does not allow much time for her hobbies, such as playing the organ, or oil and water painting. On top of being active in the AIM family business, Teresa teaches nutritional courses at Dixie State College. Even though she has been advised to slow down and not work so hard, Teresa offers her own advice: “Try to stay healthy so you can keep helping people.” And helping people is Teresa Schumacher’s business.
