Turks & Caicos Government Announces a New Stamp Duty Reduction As part of the Turks & Caicos Islands' ongoing Stimulus Package, the government has announced significant reductions in Stamp Duty on real estate purchases through late December. (Stamp Duty is the only property tax in Turks & Caicos.) 75% reduction of stamp duty on the transfer of property valued up to $2 million, made between September 22, 2020 and October 20, 2020 50% reduction of stamp duty on the transfer of property valued up to $2 million, made between October 21, 2020 and October November, 20, 2020 25% reduction of stamp duty on the transfer of property valued up to $2 million, made between November 21, 2020 to December 20, 2020 *The Stamp Duty reduction is subject to conditions and eligibility considerations by the Turks & Caicos Government.
