ARE YOU A PATRIOT?
Find 5 Differences
A patriot is defined as someone who really loves and supports their country. On the 4th of July, lots of people wave flags or dress in red, white, and blue, but patriots love their country all the time. The United States is a special country; we have lots of freedoms, laws, and protections. You can read books, play outside, or write your local politicians. It’s important to love your country. Patriots understand that nothing and no one is perfect, but they actively participate in the process to make this country the best it can be. The U.S has a deep, rich history, a diverse population, and offers lots of opportunities for everyone to get involved.
How do you show you’re a patriot? With permission from a parent or guardian, tweet us @TheGreensheet how you show others you are a patriot!
