Once upon a downtime, two long-playing local DJs decided to stop talking about running a beach party and actually came up with..... HOATU. to give. Originally, just a daydream to give back to the community by running a fun ting without losing too much money. Dozens of hours, and hundreds of pages of application later, the Wellington City Council and Radioactive.fm and Redbull said they’d help with costs. YAY.
DJs Takas and Liam Luff imported local sing star Lisa Tomlins and a series of fun, beach side jams and games became .........HOATU. to give. Tell ya mum, bring your kids. Your squad will be there and we will too. You can’t day Wellington on a good beat.
