Travel Your guide to...
Travel safely and prepare well Vietnam and Cambodia life changing experiences
Few things are more exciting than travelling internationally. But nowadays, many people are wary of it, fearing that it is dangerous. Mostly however, world travel is very safe but there are safety precautions you should take. Here are some of them. • Get a medical checkup and the appropriate vaccinations: Many destinations require vaccinations before you arrive, so find out what you need.
• Make electronic copies of your documents: Include your immunization record, itinerary, medical insurance card, passport, plane tickets, travel insurance, and visas before you leave. Email the file to yourself and keep it in your inbox. • Don’t Carry Everything Together: Keep any cash, credit cards, IDs, and things you won’t be using in your hotel room safe. Separate your money and items you must carry on you and
carry them in different spots on your person. • Don’t carry things in your back pocket. Pickpocketing is common in some places. Keep items at your front and don’t hang bags on chairs, or leave them at your feet. • Look back when leaving in case you have left something behind. • Leave the bling at home. • Don’t confide in strangers. • Invest in travel insurance.
