The job involves picking up, checking and setting out traffic counter equipment, laying of road tubes, associated data downloads and travelling within Selwyn and the Canterbury area (vehicle supplied). We require a person who is interested in roadside work and learning road safety procedures. Ideal attributes include: • Excellent on the end of a hammer to get all the road tubes in place • General computer skills familiar with email, and spreadsheets • Great navigation skills to find every count site • Enjoy working by yourself • Comfortable working on the busy road shoulders • A full license is essential • Ability to plan your daily workload An active person will enjoy working in this busy environment.
