CHRISTCHURCH BOYS’ High and St Thomas’ both secured wins in the UC Championship on Saturday, while Burnside High remains without a victory. CBHS grabbed a bonus point 26-8 victory over Rangiora at Straven Rd, while St Thomas collected four competition points with a 20-15 win over Shirley. Burnside were defeated 50-20 by St Andrew’s at Burnside. The competition takes a twoweek break for the school holidays

and will resume on July 22. St Thomas’ will host fourthplace Nelson College in round 12, CBHS face struggling St Bede’s and Burnside have the bye.
