REAL ESTATE MARKET UPDATE The announcement from the Reserve Bank that the official bank rate remains unchanged, and the view of commentators that it is likely to stay that way for the next twelve months, is a positive reflection for those planning to sell or to buy property. The Canterbury Bluebook is growing in size week by week and buyer demand remains high. The median sale price for Christchurch City property for December has increased to $449,000 compared to $440,000 in the same period the previous year with the number of sales remaining strong at 680. At Harcourts Holmwood our trained and enthusiastic consultants would love to talk real estate with you today.
