hildren at Lincoln University Early Childhood Centre experienced cultural diversity when they had a master chef kitchen with parents and expert chefs helping the children prepare nutritious food using produce from their own garden. The children chose their own judges who taste tested and scored the food. The children then used maths to count the scores and literacy to write their own recipes. They experienced food they had not eaten before including: gnocchi from Italy, dumpling cabbage from Vietnam, and Murukku from Sri Lanka with flags representing the different cultures.
