Circus Envy & Barty Sunday 28th August - 7:30 PM Tickets £7.00 Circus Envy are an alternative-folk band based in East Yorkshire. Featuring a line-up of primarily acoustic instruments, they add a traditional sensibility to their intricately crafted harmony-led modern songs with use of bouzouki, mandolin and cajón. The band’s 2010 EP, “A New Dawn”, was released to critical acclaim, and received significant airplay, including from Mike Harding on BBC Radio 2 and resulted in Circus Envy being featured on the front cover of R2 Magazine.

Val Marshall Friday 16th September - 7:30 PM Tickets £7.00 Val Marshall is a British acoustic/folk/country singersongwriter and musician. She started songwriting and playing at Open Mic Nights and Festivals on her own city of Hull in 2004. Paint It White “A top of the league production.” Yorkshire Evening Post Tuesday 1st November - 7:45 Tickets: £12.00 The visiting production of 'Paint It White' is taken from the book by Gary Edwards and follows the life of a Leeds United football fan. A comedy from the author of Where Are They Now? Paint It White proved a big hit during its original threeweek run at Leeds’s Clarence Dock Theatre last year. BluesBeaten Redshaw Friday 11th November - 7:30 PM Tickets ÂŁ7.00 Gavin Redshaw is an 18 year old solo and electric guitarist and singer from North Yorkshire.In his short career so far, he has played two of the many stages at Glastonbury's 40th Anniversary festival, followed by a trip he embarked on from Malton to Switzerland on his family's 1948 Ferguson TE20 tractor. He plays a raw amalgamation of blues, country and sounds from closer to home, such as punk, folk and the engine noises from the tractors of the Yorkshire heart, either from the homebuilt 1 string electric Diddley Bows or from one of his many other homebuilt guitars.
