“White Paper” Tech Product Review

Partnership with ATI R&D Team

• ATI’s former SharePoint site houses tech reviews of products discovered and tested by team

• Problem: Reviews formatted similar to scientific symposium presentation, often taking 4+ hours to document findings

• Solution: Microsoft form to enter information, responses inserted into Word document template through Power Automate workflows

• Conducted user testing across all ATI teams for widespread input

Form Populated with Data

User Acceptance Documentation

• Asked to assist with translating Game Design Document (GDD) creative intent expectations into test plan checklist for IP-based minigame

• Divided up requirements between “action” triggers and “expected” results

• Learned about protocols and requirements for UAT and how to read a GDD from Project Team

• UAT successful, minigame installed

Example:

GDD Creative Intent: When a guest performs a waving gesture in front of the window, IP character in window will wave back at the guest in the same manner and direction.

Test Plan:

Action: Guest will execute wave gesture in front of window.

Expected: IP character in window waves back to guest.

Request:

Maps located near Ticketing Booths and Park Entrance were faded beyond recognition.

Engineering Services requested redesign and refabrication of maps and naval code flag legends.

Process:

Imagineering Resource Center had records of flag legends, but only had concept art for the maps.

By identifying some of the legible symbols and topographic labels through additional site walks, we were able to pinpoint which map was used, reducing design time and shortening production schedule duration for faster turnover.
