We are encompassed by Fareham Borough Council's Safeguarding Policy and guidance to ensure that all of our visitors receive the best possible experience when visiting Ferneham Hall. As part of our commitment to safeguarding, please be aware that children and young people (under the

age of 16 years old) are not permitted to attend public events at Ferneham Hall, as a lone’ member of the audience, without a responsible adult (someone aged 18 years and over) or parent/carer who is attending with them. The only exceptions are ‘SNAP’ events for young people between 11 and 16 years old, where activities are co-ordinated by Fareham Borough Council. These are supported with appropriately checked staff and volunteers, who are on hand to supervise.

Please be aware that in circumstances where Ferneham Hall is hired for an event which may involve children and young people; whether as guests or as performers, responsibility lies with the Hirer to manage their own safeguarding arrangements. For quarter of a century, this breathtaking show has rock ’n’ rolled audiences across the globe from Cardiff to California, Barking to Bangkok and Swindon to Sweden and is guaranteed to have everyone singing along to the music and dancing in the aisles. It stars some of the finest actor-musicians in the UK whose combined West End credits include Buddy, Lennon, Forbidden Planet and Jailhouse Rock and was endorsed as Britain’s most popular Buddy Holly act when the boys guested on BBC One's Saturday night live programme, ‘The One and Only’, hosted by Graham Norton. The show rarely pauses for breath and is, quite simply, the most compelling concert of its kind. The hits just keep on coming - 'That’ll Be The Day', 'Peggy Sue', 'Heartbeat', 'It Doesn’t Matter Anymore', 'Raining In My Heart', 'Oh Boy!' – and many, many more. Whatever the season, whatever the excuse to party, make your Heartbeat a little faster with the show that has thousands of fans the world over saying: “I can’t believe it’s not Buddy!” “The audience were dancing in the aisles and roaring for more” The Stage

ALL BEETHOVEN CONCERT It’s Beethoven night with the Havant Chamber Orchestra! Conductor: Robin Browning • Overture Creatures of Prometheus – Beethoven • Piano Concerto No 3 in C minor – Beethoven Soloist: Roger Owens • Symphony No 5 in C minor – Beethoven The stunning fifth Symphony rounds off a feast of great works from the great man. The Overture to The Creatures of Prometheus provides a suitably dramatic opening to the concert. It is short and to the point, being the opening to a full

ballet score written by Beethoven in 1801 for performances in Vienna, but it is a perfect demonstration of the composer’s feel for drama and storytelling. Beethoven is believed to have composed his third Piano Concerto a year earlier than Prometheus, in 1800, but it was not performed until 1803 and even then, contemporary accounts say that Beethoven, who was himself the soloist, played it largely from memory as he had not yet written it all down! The Orchestra are very much looking forward to working with pianist Roger Owens on this fantastic concerto.
