DeLoss Dodds Men’s Athletics Director

Chris Plonsky Director of Women’s Athletics and Men’s/Women’s External Services

Through your personal contributions, you ensure The University of Texas is, and will continue to be, one of the nation’s premier academic institutions with an excellent broad-based men’s and women’s athletics program. UT Athletics and The Longhorn Foundation staff are grateful for your continued commitment to our student-athletes. The assistance you provide is ultimately a symbol of your belief in them. Their talent, dedication and determination combine to prepare them to eventually serve as great leaders and citizens of our communities, our region and our country. As a self-supporting UT auxiliary enterprise, UT Athletics, by law, receives no state funding. Our success and ability to sustain excellence is attributed in large part to donors like you. Thank you for understanding that dividends are paid to the University through the pride exhibited for our nationally-ranked programs and the integrity by which it operates. It is necessary for UT Athletics and The Longhorn Foundation to raise funds in a variety of ways. The Foundation’s main fundraising areas are: Major Gifts/Planned Giving and Annual Giving. All gifts are utilized in the most effective and efficient way possible, and we thank you for your loyal support to The University and UT Athletics.

Methods of Giving Giving online via DonorNet DonorNet is a way for Longhorn Foundation donors to manage their accounts online. Foundation donors set up an account, allowing them to do things such as: • Access account information/update contact information • Pay/Renew donation • Change/Submit a new donation To access DonorNet please visit: https://texaslonghorns.donornetpac.com/Login.aspx For more help with DonorNet, please visit: https://texaslonghorns.donornetpac.com/school/TEX/PDF/DonorNetUserGuide.pdf Donate by phone Call The Longhorn Foundation at 512/471-4439 Donate By Mail To print out a donor card, please visit: TheLonghornFoundation.com and click on “Donate” Tax Information Donations to the annual fund are typically 80% tax-deductible. You are encouraged to contact your tax advisor to determine the deductibility of your gift.

How it Works The Longhorn Foundation uses a point system for annual and cumulative contributions. Contributors receive one point for each dollar contributed. Annual point totals are used to determine ticket and seating priorities, parking area locations and other benefits. The annual donation year begins December 1 and runs through November 30. The ticket priority deadline is March 1. Donors may choose when to donate, based on tax needs and ticketing requirements.

Direct Contributions The most common method of giving, these gifts are made via credit card or check (made payable to The University of Texas). All donations MUST be made by the donor of record.

Stock Gifts All stock gifts to the University must be made by contacting Charlotte Hambrick at 512/499-4346.

Matching Gifts You can increase the value of your donations if your employer participates in the matching gift program. Most companies will match only the tax-deductible portion of your contribution, so you will be responsible for any remaining balance. In order to receive credit for a matching gift, you must submit your matching form directly to The Longhorn Foundation.

Major Gifts/Planned Giving The Longhorn Foundation exists to coordinate and administer major gifts to the Athletics Department. These gifts are graciously accepted and provide funding for several aspects of men’s and women’s programs, from endowing student-athlete scholarships to helping fund much needed facility improvements.

Real Estate Gifts Real estate in the form of land, buildings, and residences are welcome and may provide significant tax advantages for donors. Certain gifts of real estate allow you to hold an interest in the land for your lifetime or for a specific term of years. After that time it becomes available to the University.

DKR-Texas Memorial Stadium As Texas Football moves into the 21st century, DKR-Texas Memorial Stadium continues to evolve as a state-of-the-art facility at the forefront of college football. The stadium was originally dedicated on Thanksgiving Day in 1924, after the UT student body decided to name the stadium in honor of the 198,520 Texans who fought in World War I and the 5,280 who lost their lives doing so. In 1977, the stadium was rededicated to veterans of all wars. DKR-Texas Memorial’s seating capacity is 100,119, making it the sixth-largest collegiate stadium in the country and the largest in the southwest.

UFCU Disch-Falk Field The Texas Longhorn Baseball team has been playing at UFCU Disch-Falk Field since it opened on February 17, 1975. The stadium was named for two former coaches--the late Billy Disch and the late Bibb Falk and was dedicated on April 19, 1975. In 2006, University Federal Credit Union secured the naming rights to the facility and financed the renovation of the facility. With completion of renovations in 2008, seating capacity increased to 6,649 and incorporated 19 suites making UFCU Disch-Falk Field one of the premier collegiate baseball facilities in the country.
